Visited for a staycation with my partner and could not have asked for a better experience! From check in to check out, we felt looked after as if we were part of the family. Our room was stunning - with our own private, garden facing balcony! Dinner was our highlight - we can see why they have a Michelin star! The risotto starter was one of my favourites, and the duck was incredible. The hotel itself is just stunning - full of character, hand-painted wallpaper and a huge garden! Thank you The Goring team for making our stay so special and memorable!

I stayed at The Goring in August for dinner and an overnight stay. It was fantastic - the food, the staff, the accommodation. I would highly recommend anyone wanting to stay at an independent, 5-star hotel in London to choose The Goring. We started the night with drinks in the bar where the atmosphere was nice and very welcoming. After a cocktail, we headed to the dining room and sat down to enjoy a lovely meal - of which the Beef Wellington was the star of the show! After a lovely dinner we retired to our room which was spacious and exquisitely decorated and very in-keeping with the rest of the hotel. The staff are wonderful. Nothing is too much of an ask and they are very friendly and approachable. Breakfast was another delight and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

My friends and I dropped by for some drinks on a quiet Monday afternoon to celebrate our joint birthdays. The lovely Ramona made us feel very welcome snd special. She gave us her time and her delightful conversation. In fact all the staff we encountered from the doormen to waiting staff were friendly and helpful. We will be back I hope soon to taste the delights of the restaurant and all it has to offer.

From the warm welcome upon arrival to the attentive care throughout our stay, the entire experience felt so personal and special. We enjoyed an incredible dinner in the beautifully refurbished dining room. Thank you for an unforgettable visit!

I had an excellent stay at The Goring. The service was outstanding—every staff member was attentive and made me feel welcome from start to finish. My room was cosy, with a comfortable bed and a luxurious bathroom. The pregnancy pillow was an excellent little touch! The food was a highlight, especially the Michelin-starred Dining Room—every meal was delicious, and the breakfast options were fantastic. The recommendations the staff provided were wonderful - highly recommend the duck and the eggs drumkilbo (supposedly a favourite of the late Queen Mother)! The hotel's location is ideal, close to Buckingham Palace and other key attractions. If you're looking for a luxurious and memorable stay in London, I highly recommend The Goring.

Great people make great hotels and The Goring has great people in abundance. The Goring family extends well beyond George Goring and his children: staff and guests feel that they belong too. As the personal touch become rarer in the travel business, The Goring becomes more special.

Truly great hotels like The Goring don’t just inherit a great reputation, they know they have to earn it every day. Staff at The Goring are always friendly, willing and efficient and whether you are there for breakfast, dinner or a business meeting the service is always superb.

The only reason the members of Heartaches C.C. play cricket in the summer is that it qualifies them for the Annual Christmas Lunch at The Goring.

It is more than the cosseting, more than the sybarism, more than the wonderful use of British produce, and their own blend of tea, it’s when I stay at The Goring I feel I’ve come home.

From the moment I checked in at The Goring I knew I was going to be pampered. Radiating charm and tranquility, it resembles a country hotel in the midst of a bustling city. The food is scrumptious, the service caring and impeccable and humour toujours a la carte! To stay anywhere else in London is inconceivable to - it would be like snubbing a favourite nanny.
