Grosvenor House, A JW Marriott Hotel

We have had two not so good experiences at this hotel recently. Lisa from the hotel asked if I would give them a chance to make amends and the room was super. She is an Italian star our stay this time was really up to our expectations from Marriott as we stay in their hotels whenever we travel. My faith is restored in JW Grosvenor House in Park Lane we visited another hotel close by that I had considered changing to and quite frankly I am pleased Lisa convinced my to give her another try.

This hotel is a railway station , it’s jaded and the staff are inadequate and rude , platinum members are treated shabbily , I was fraudulently charged for garage usage without a car … avoid the grosvernor house like the plague… the lounge is infested with people , front office is under manned … rooms need desperate refurbishment

Nice hotel in a good location with excellent customer service. Clean and comfortable rooms. The executive lounge was very nice as well, we enjoyed the amenities and the space is well appointed. My wife and I would look to stay here again when in London.

I knew this stay was going to be special when I received an email prior to arrival from the Guest Services Team letting me know about the hotel and wanting to know if I had any special requests. Flying into London overnight, we were greeted promptly and warmly by the desk agent. She was so friendly and told us of London restaurants to try and additional venues to visit. Our room wasn't quite ready so she personally took us to the restaurant where we were offered complimentary coffee while we waited. The room was large, spacious and well appointed. The room robes, bathroom towel warmer and soft/luxurious bed were nice touches. As if all of this wasn't enough for a 5 start review, the hotel Guest Services Team and head pastry chef had left me a chocolate raspberry desert, along with a personalized card, to celebrate my birthday. We truly hated to leave as the JW Marriott Grosvenor House London staff and experience were amazing. I whole heartedly recommended this hotel for its staff, location and experience.
