The most wonderful hotel in London

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

We have stayed twice at Hotel 41, first on my 30th birthday and it was the most magical time, and second for my partner's 35th and I have never stayed anywhere like it. At all times I was made to feel like I was the most important person in the universe and never once like I didn't deserve to be there. My partner and I are not wealthy (both teachers who have saved up our pennies to stay at the hotel) and yet the staff do nothing but spoil you and make you feel like you should be nowhere else. And the breakfasts....Best in London....Best I've had.... I have stayed in London many times, but if you want to go for a special getaway then this is the only place to stay.

Always a special experience ❤️

We are just home from our second stay at Hotel 41. Such a lovely hotel. A wonderful find. Beautiful rooms, of course, but the stand out for us are the staff. So exceptional in every way. They go out of their way to make your stay the best it can be and nothing is too much trouble. A very special group of people. They go above and beyond with personal touches. We will be back for sure.

Burns' Night at 41

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

The hot dish for the Plunder the Pantry offering on Saturday 25th January - Burns' Night - was Haggis, Neeps and Tatties pie. How very appropriate! The accompanying salads, cheese and cold meats for those who wished a different choice, together with beautifully crafted little puddings, were a delight as always. It was a welcome return on a stormy winter night to our London home from home at 41. The hotel will shortly be completing the refurbishment of rooms and will undoubtedly look splendid in its fresh black and white signature colours. Our rooms were already refurbished and look really smart. Housekeeping is always spotless at 41. We had enjoyed a delicious informal lunch with our daughter next door at Bbar and were delighted to see the traditional bobotie rolls back on the menu. The time we spent in the Executive Lounge was therapeutic as always, and we were expertly looked after by Esin, Gabriel, Antonio and their colleagues. The settee in front of the fire is so very traditionally British and welcoming. We rounded off our stay with our choices of Sunday breakfast: smoked salmon, avocado, scrambled eggs and bucks' fizz. Just wonderful. Thank you, Team 41.

Just perfect

This hotel is perfect. Without a doubt the best hotel we have stayed at. The service is friendly and attentive. The rooms are so comfortable and pleasing. The whole family stayed and are still talking about going back. A big thank you to Ruben and the whole team.

Exceptional amenities & exceptional guest services

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

From the welcoming reception to the exceptional service provided by the staff & housekeeping, this is an amazing hotel. Our room was a good size, the daily turn down service treats & the lovely stocking hanging on your door on Christmas morning was next level. We stayed 5 nights and it was a truly wonderful stay. It remains in our memories as what other hotels should aspire to.

My bid for a five-day stay at the 41 Hotel in London was accepted. I'm writing to report that the hotel experience was extraordinary. The quality of the room (the bed, the bath, and a full panoply of amenities) was five-star. Even more important, the service was unqualifiedly exceptional — personal, attentive, efficient, friendly. I've been pleased with prior Luxury Link bookings but none has been the qualify of the 41 Hotel. It was truly a private residence with full service experience.

What an experience. Small and quaint where service is personal, efficient, and attentive. Never a want for anything. We arrived on my birthday and were treated like royalty the entire 5 day stay! We were greeted with champagne and a staff that was beyond exceptional. What a treat to return to our room after my b-day dinner to find a heart made of rose pedals on our bed and a room filled with red candles -- and a cake! The staff at 41 is exceptional -- they all went out of their way to make our stay so very special. Love this hotel and plan to return soon. Location is across from the Mews at Buckinham Palace. Descrete and wonderful!

Ever impulsive, we gambled on a "Buy it Now" for Hotel 41. And that gamble paid off (they don’t always - being "impulsive" is way over-rated). BUT - What a lovely place! What a terrific staff - every single one of them! This was truly our home for the week we spent in London. We'd start with breakfast in the lounge, back to the room for a rousing game of Wii volleyball (or basketball), walk all over London, back in time for appetizers and to catch up with the staff and other guests, then back out for a show and dinner or more sightseeing. The staff arranged everything for us: exchanging the complimentary champagne for a wonderful chardonnay when they noticed we declined the champagne, setting up the complimentary Wii in our room, theater tickets, high tea, dinners, tours. My favorite thing was getting back to the room at the end of the night: lights dimmed, candles lit, bottled water replenished on the night stands, classical music playing low in the background, and hot water bottles tucked underneath the beautifully turned down covers. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
