One of London's most intimate boutique hotels, 41 welcomes with the refined atmosphere of a gentleman's club only steps from the Royal Parks and Pall Mall. Named Choice Hotel in Britain and Ireland by AA Inspectors, guests will delight in its chic black and white interiors, accommodations that contain cutting-edge appointments and services that include evening snacks and canapés, drinks, butler service and more. As Fodor's aptly put it in September 2005, "Everything you might need or want is included."

Upon arriving we were greeted by a smiling, welcoming doorman, and then by a lovely soft spoken guest services representative who escorted us to the Executive Lounge. An amazing library with comfortable tables, chairs, and sofas comfortably spaced around the room or in front of a lovely fireplace. We were asked if we would like a glass of champagne (3 varieties to choose from) and hors d’oeuvres while we waited for our check in documents. Our room was lovely. A King sized bed with comfortable pillows, a setee, table with chairs and a desk. The room came with blackout shades, a large screen television, coffee maker and tea service. The bathroom had a full sized tub with shower in addition to a single shower, a large sink with vanity and lovely personal amenities. The towels were oversized, plush, and warm from the towel warmer. Each morning, very nice continental breakfast was available in the Executive Lounge, with snacks available throughout the day. And when your legs and body were exhausted from a day of sightseeing, the Executive Lounge was still open with cheeses, meats and sweets. Sadly, I don’t remember the names of all the countless staff who were available to provide our every need. The Hotel 41 is a lovely boutique hotel, in a great location!

We are just back from another phenomenal stay at the magical Hotel 41. Why magical? Because as soon as you walk into the downstairs lobby you enter a new, special world. The private lift whisks you up to the sanctuary that is the Executive Lounge, away from the hustle and bustle of London. This is the magical heart of the hotel, where the very special staff look after your every desire and anticipate your needs. The Red Carnation group must have a superb HR department as they find the loveliest people who clearly love what they do, and deliver the highest standards of customer service imaginable. Snacks and treats are available all day - from Lindt chocolates to scones, jam and cream, to canapés and the yummiest ham and cheese toasties known to humankind. And all of that before the plunder the pantry opens at 9pm until the early hours. Oh yes - there’s also a fridge full of Jude ice cream. It is magic. The decor throughout is calm and so stylish. The beds are the comfiest you’ll ever sleep in. Little gifts appear each evening. They must have their own house elves! All the rooms are lovely, but this visit we received a very unexpected and overwhelming upgrade to the Conservatory Suite. OMG. It is stunning. We didnt want to leave! So another perfect stay - thank you Adele and all your wonderful team. We loved getting to know Saif, a delightful young man and so kind and helpful as all the team are. There was, however, one thing we missed this visit, which made us so sad. The legendary Steve has passed. He was such a character and embodied the 41 ethos so well, we are devastated for his loved ones and all his colleagues. We will miss our chats with him, hearing about his days in fashion, or his adventures in Sri Lanka. Whenever we are at 41 and have our welcome glass of champagne, we will raise it on his memory.

My wife and I returned yesterday from our stay at the Hotel 41 in London. It's an exceptional property with an amazing location across the street from the Royal Mews @ Buckingham Palace. But what I found that made the Hotel 41 the most enjoyable stay of my lifetime was the staff of this wonderful hotel. My wife and I in 35+ years of traveling have never experienced such wonderful and sincere personable service that we had during our 4 nights at the Hotel 41. There are so many people to thank that I would be embarrassed to accidentally leave a name off. But Ruben, the great experience manager at Hotel 41, and so many of the staff throughout the property made this trip the most memorable and enjoyable for my wife and myself. We've stayed at many 5 star properties and had great experiences (Peninsula Hong Kong, FS New York, Ritz Carlton Sarasota, FS Atlanta, IC Bora Bora Thalasso, etc. to name a few). But I have to be honest, that our experience here at the Hotel 41 has surpassed all of these wonderful properties. Our 4 nights at the Hotel 41 in London was quite simply the finest stay that we've ever experienced. When you go into the Executive Lounge (available to all guests). you're immediately greeted with the warmest reception from everyone. And their attention to detail and service is unmatched. It's extremely personable and professional. We happen to mention that we were going out to dinner and a show for the evening. And when we returned to our room that night, a beautiful message was left in our room during turn down saying we hope you enjoyed your dinner this evening and had a wonderful time at the show in the West End signed YOUR FAMILY AT HOTEL 41. Just one example of the countless personable interactions that we received during the week. I could go on and on about the staff. The staff at the Hotel 41 is the #1 reason that I will only stay at this property in London from now on. If you've never stayed here, then you've never experienced service like this. An experience of a lifetime. Thank you for creating such a wonderful memory for my wife and I.

From the moment you walk in the door, you know you're someplace special. After a warm welcome, you're whisked to the 5th floor Executive Lounge, seated on a plush velvet sofa, and served champagne while an extremely professional and friendly staff member introduces you to the hotel. My room was upgraded and included everything you can imagine needing, from slippers and robe, to a full tea seat, stocked mini-bar, heated towel rack, etc., etc., plus surprises each day upon my return. The room was pin-drop quiet for sleeping. The Lounge is full of food all day long (plus the bonus of an ice cream freezer!) and the attentive staff anticipate your needs before you can even think what you need next: more wine, directions, or a taxi. I won't mention specific staff because I'm sure I'd leave someone out - they are all excellent and make you feel like you're at home. The location is great - 2 blocks to the Victoria tube station and right across the street from Buckingham Palace. We all have lots of choices of hotels in London, so if you're considering one of those well-known hotel chains where your room looks the same whether you're waking up in Chicago or Dallas, and their service is mostly non-existent, choose the Hotel 41 - you truly won't forget this experience. I won't be staying anywhere else when I visit London in the future.

We were overwhelmed upon arriving to be greeted by a traditional doorman, resplendant in red and black velvet, then by Callum, a guest services representative, dressed in a tuxedo, who escorted us to the Executive Lounge where we were able to relax in an amazing, fireplace-lit library with comfortable tables, chairs, setees and sofas while being checked in. We were asked if we would like a glass of champagne while we were waiting, then given the option of three varieties. When poured, we were also offered some lovely hors d'oeuvres as accompaniment. Our room was spacious and so comfortable with multiple pillows on a king-sized bed, a setee, table with chairs, and a desk, as well as a fireplace, blackout shade, large screen television, coffee maker and tea service. The bathroom had a full sized tub with shower in addition to a single shower, a large sink with vanity and lovely personal amenities. The room was made up in the morning and turned down at night. We were given the opportunity to raid the pantry after 8:30 every evening in the executive lounge and were provided a full "honor system" bar in same. We were attended to and spoiled every minute of our stay by countless staff members who were also available to recommend area attractions, restaurants, transportation, and necessities. As the final hotel of a five-week travel adventure, 41 spoiled our experience at all other hotels where we have stayed, and will reserve in our future! A most FABULOUS hotel!

My bid for a five-day stay at the 41 Hotel in London was accepted. I'm writing to report that the hotel experience was extraordinary. The quality of the room (the bed, the bath, and a full panoply of amenities) was five-star. Even more important, the service was unqualifiedly exceptional — personal, attentive, efficient, friendly. I've been pleased with prior Luxury Link bookings but none has been the qualify of the 41 Hotel. It was truly a private residence with full service experience.

What an experience. Small and quaint where service is personal, efficient, and attentive. Never a want for anything. We arrived on my birthday and were treated like royalty the entire 5 day stay! We were greeted with champagne and a staff that was beyond exceptional. What a treat to return to our room after my b-day dinner to find a heart made of rose pedals on our bed and a room filled with red candles -- and a cake! The staff at 41 is exceptional -- they all went out of their way to make our stay so very special. Love this hotel and plan to return soon. Location is across from the Mews at Buckinham Palace. Descrete and wonderful!

Ever impulsive, we gambled on a "Buy it Now" for Hotel 41. And that gamble paid off (they don’t always - being "impulsive" is way over-rated). BUT - What a lovely place! What a terrific staff - every single one of them! This was truly our home for the week we spent in London. We'd start with breakfast in the lounge, back to the room for a rousing game of Wii volleyball (or basketball), walk all over London, back in time for appetizers and to catch up with the staff and other guests, then back out for a show and dinner or more sightseeing. The staff arranged everything for us: exchanging the complimentary champagne for a wonderful chardonnay when they noticed we declined the champagne, setting up the complimentary Wii in our room, theater tickets, high tea, dinners, tours. My favorite thing was getting back to the room at the end of the night: lights dimmed, candles lit, bottled water replenished on the night stands, classical music playing low in the background, and hot water bottles tucked underneath the beautifully turned down covers. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
