Our family had the most incredible stay at The Kensington Hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and impeccable service—the staff truly go above and beyond to make every guest feel special. The true heart of The Kensington is its extraordinary staff. The hotel itself is exquisite, with beautifully designed rooms & elegant common spaces, The location is unbeatable, making it easy to explore the best of London, and the dining was exceptional, from breakfast to afternoon tea. Every moment of our stay was pure perfection, and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We were fortunate enough to stay in The Brompton Suite and wow. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the room itself. Beautifully appointed but practically designed. Incredibly comfortable bed and pillows - and I don't say that lightly. I find most bedding subpar even in the most "luxury" of hotels. We were especially pleased with the "living room," which provided a real feel of being in a home away from home, a place to relax and unwind after long days out seeing the city. Not to mention the lovely extras for our evenings in - fruit, champagne, bottled water, mini bar, roasted nuts, truffles. The K Bar is oustanding, with creative cocktails the likes of which I have never seen anywhere in the States. We also enjoyed breakfast at The Townhouse on two separate mornings and it was positively delightful. Staff and service were amazing at every turn - helpful, kind, warm, welcoming - which elevated the stay far above and beyond our expectations. The Kensington is now our favorite hotel and we are already planning our return.

Harvey helped us out in a manner that exemplified the best of British (and honestly global) hospitality: from chasing us to return the bag tags we forgot to getting tea to go for the ride to the airport, the service was outstanding! Can’t recommend him enough

A beautiful hotel in Kensington with the most incredible customer service and attention from staff! Very sweet with our two young children, too. We had an issue with our room that took some time to fix, and the staff went above and beyond sorting it out and making us feel cared for and welcome. We also had afternoon tea here. Another sweet experience at the hotel - complete with an artist in residence who sketched our family! A lovely place to stay to explore London, especially the museums in South Kensington.

Have been to this hotel once before but not for a few years and its charm is as strong as we had remembered on our last stay. On arrival the very helpful concierge welcomed us back like friends and the staff at reception had our rooms available a few hours before normal checkin. The ground floor and its social areas are traditional and cosy (on a grand scale) and very uplifting especially when seated by the open fireplaces, the restaurant (by the grand stairplace-a great place to hide away) and the breakfast (wonderful chefs) is the best in London (a little wait on occasions) and the staff are very professional and engaging (I would advise to take a book from the library and relax in the drawing room). The staff in the k bar are enteraining and knowledgeable and yes, as a member of staff (Thomas) had told us on our "refresh tour" they will create a drink down to your conversation (and it happened to us without realizing). Our rooms were simply beautiful, going to sleep was the best experience and the cleanliness, amenities, fruit, the flowers (Thomas and the team had arranged) and our encounter with a few members of staff (Senior) as we left our rooms assured us how well looked after we were. All our interactions with the staff each day was like having friends in London, showing a great interest in my family and I and our daily outings, but we have to give a special mention to Thomas. Thomas didn't do anything more than his friends (he did actually), but his charm and character, humor and personality and discretion added a delightful side to each question and conversation. Meeting up after our day out, his (and the staff) willingness to help, showing a sincere interest of our day and activities and how available he (and the staff) were for anything we wanted signalled only one trait, Luxury. As we left Thomas and the staff stood on the steps and waved us goodbye and my family and I began to discuss our next vacation to the UK and The Kensington. To the family who owns the hotel (Doyle Collection, given a brief history) the management (introduced to, two) the entire team and Thomas, thank you for an Old Style British/Irish Charm, Service and Chivalry in a world where many have forgotten it.
