Staff are very helpful, the room was small but very cosy with good facilities, all the little extras you expedite a 4 star hotel. the Bar area was very nice with live music, staff very helpful and efficient, we did not use the restaurant so cannot comment. In the morning staff were very helpful with everything, including getting a cab for our onward journey, will definitely be back Only negative points were Small room , cosy for 1 night but could become claustrophobic if you stayed for a few nights, but I'm sure larger rooms are available at a higher rare. Breakfast was expensive at £30 a head, especially with additional supplements for example, eggs benidict was £10 extra so £40 for eggs Benidict...we used a local restaurant as £80 for 2 for breakfast seemed extravagant

When I arrived there had been a slight mix-up with my booking, but the staff were incredible and went above and beyond to make me welcome. The suite was out of this world. . .sleeping in a glass bedroom with a gorgeous ball & claw bath, enjoying my book in the room's conservatory and access (via a 'ski lodge') to the private garden. The British Museum is about 100 mtrs away so book a late night there, with Ramesses II in the Egyptian Rooms to really make the most of your stay in London.

Perfect hotel! Great position in Bloomsbury. Excellent room, comfortable bed, public areas great, amazing leopard bar! But it's the staff who make this place so good, Concierge Mustafa, receptionists India and Megan, plus all the rest of the staff were so friendly, efficient and nothing was too much trouble. Honestly never stayed in hotel with such great staff.

I can totally recommend The Winter Lodge as a great venue for an office (or other group) party. It's a lovely ski lodge themed (and festively decorated) room with a cosy bar attached serving mulled wine and any other drinks as you require. The hotel provides a bespoke event according to the size of your party and your exact requirements. For our party of 25 we had exclusive use of the Winter Lodge, where mulled wine, other drinks, and tasty snacks were served. Really an ideal place for pre-dinner drinks. Then a superb three course festive meal in the hotel's Blue Door Bistro (huge portions too!) before back to The Winter Lodge for mince pies, coffee, and more drinks. All the guests thoroughly enjoyed the evening which was run perfectly. Our two dedicated hosts were exceptional - efficient and jolly - and together made the event all the more outstanding. Overall we were very impressed, the staff are to be commended!

I booked a one night stay on the Sunday night to see the Christmas lights in London - it was a single travellers rate and was inclusive of English breakfast. I have stayed at the hotel a couple of times, a great location for Euston and King's Cross stations, and also just round the corner from the British museum in Bloomsbury and walking distance to Oxford Street, Soho, Convent Garden. The hotel is beautiful, and all staff are very helpful and friendly. I was given an upgrade to a double bed, and very much enjoyed my English breakfast. Will definitely stay here again.
