One Aldwych

My daughter and I use to come every year. We love this hotel : luxury, tranquillity and bliss ! The staff is very charming, friendly, welcoming and very helpful in case of any issue. Perfect location, we can go everywhere by walk ! Looking forward to coming back next year !

I just wanted to take a moment to share the marvelous experience I had during my recent stay at One Aldwych Hotel. My great friend, my doggie, and I had the pleasure of spending a night there, and I must say, it was absolutely delightful from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the concierge, and the extraordinary check-in with Cecile made us feel so welcome. The room was incredibly cozy, and the facilities were nothing short of superb. I was particularly impressed by Agne’s dedication to making our stay truly special. The room was spotless and adorned with lovely touches, such as complimentary cake and wines. Finding a nice bed and treats for my dog was a delightful surprise, something we had never encountered in other hotels we’ve stayed at before. My dog thoroughly enjoyed the soft bed and tasty treats. The room service was impeccable, ensuring that our needs were met promptly and efficiently. We also had the pleasure of visiting the Indigo restaurant, where we savored the most delicious cocktails, expertly recommended by Julia. Her extensive knowledge of the drink selection was impressive, and she added a lovely surprise with a birthday cake for me, making my stay even more special. The restaurant's environment was stunning, surrounded by an array of beautiful flowers. On our way, we met the General Manager, Gavin, who kindly acknowledged that we were staying with a dog and extended a warm greeting to us. In general, the hotel exuded luxury, and the entire staff was incredibly friendly, making us feel like royalty. The location was also fantastic, contributing to what was undoubtedly one of the greatest stays I’ve had in London. Thank you once again for a truly memorable experience.

My wife and I are Londoners so we know London very well. One Aldwych is always warm and welcoming. It is our happy place. You can walk from the hotel to the West End theatres. The hotel's pre theatre dinner is very good. Book a table for 5 pm and you will have time to eat and stroll through London's West End to the theatre. After the theatre finish off the evening with drink in the hotel's 'Lobby Bar'. My wife and I think it is one of the best bars in London.

A delightful visit over New Years. Even before we arrived, the staff emailed about our needs and offered that --arriving on an overnight flight from the US-- we could freshen up in the fitness center. But then we were able to check in that morning --very much appreciated. Front desk, housekeeping, more --the staff were all gracious and accommodating. Little things, like that the mini bar items were complimentary. And the indoor pool was a great perk --a treat to be able to swim in London in December! Overall, One Aldwych is the right size and in a super location.

The rooms are modern, beautifully designed, and filled with thoughtful touches that make you feel right at home. Dining at Indigo is a highlight. The entire menu is gluten- and dairy-free, yet every dish is bursting with flavor and presented with care. The Lobby Bar is equally impressive, offering expertly crafted cocktails in a vibrant yet relaxed atmosphere. The wellness facilities are incredible, particularly the pool with underwater music—a unique and relaxing experience. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Covent Garden, with theaters, shops, and landmarks just a short walk away. One Aldwych delivers on every level, from exceptional service to attention to detail. It’s not just a hotel; it’s an experience that leaves a lasting impression. I can’t wait to return!
