Rosewood London

Wonderful stay. Every detail considered. Immensely festive (we were there for the Christmas holidays), warm and welcoming. The bar is an absolute must and has a side door for hotel guests. Excellent drinks and small bites. We’ll be back soon!

The bar at the rosewood is one of those places that you just don’t want to leave. The staff and the experience are 1st class, absolutely nothing at all to fault. I’d go so far to say that it’s up there with the best bars I’ve ever been to. But the star of the show, was Chris on the door. A total professional but had that star quality that is rare… he was honest, funny and just made everyone at ease. We were queuing on a Friday evening with no hope of getting in (residents quite rightly take priority) and recommended us to come back on Saturday afternoon… which of course we did. Just a fabulous experience from start to finish. World class place. Loved it. Just go

Our favorite hotel in London. Because of our adventure we stayed in three cities and five hotels in England including three very highly recommended ones in London and this was clearly the best. From the minute you drive up to the hotel you know you are at a special place. The people at the front desk were awesome and gave great recommendations. The room was excellent. The gym and spa first class, and the world renown bar was worth the hype. Couldn't have been a better two nights!

Our stay at the Rosewood London was unforgettable! From the moment we stepped into our impeccably clean and spacious room, we knew we were in for a treat. The bed was like clouds, making it hard to leave! The staff blew us away with their warmth and attentiveness, going above and beyond to ensure our experience was nothing short of amazing. The hotel’s location was simply perfect for immersing ourselves in the vibrant city, and we were thrilled with the mouthwatering dinner and breakfast options—there was something for everyone! We can't recommend this hotel enough to anyone planning a visit to London.

Room - We had a Grand Executive Room. Despite the high ceilings, the room seemed small and we did not think it was well thought out: the large round table in the corner served no purpose and just took up space and there was very little space for luggage. The small bathroom had a high step over edge bathtub and it felt like we were taking our lives into our hands every time we took a shower. The rooms need an update. The sense that we got was that once the new Chancery Rosewood opens, this hotel will have to have a remodel to remain competitive. Dining - The pre fixe menu breakfast in the Holborn dining room has a limited menu with uninspired choices: it felt like we were in a cafeteria rather than a high-end hotel dining room. Service was only fair as well. Breakfast in the Mirror Room was a step up over the Holborn. Service - Surprisingly, this is where the hotel really let us down. There were lots of errors including not fulfilling our basic requests and errors in billing. All of them could have been corrected had the hotel staff just said the word “sorry” when they made a mistake. Sorry we billed your friends (twice) for the surprise birthday champagne you paid for in advance and had sent to their room. Sorry we never delivered the requested bag stands to your room. Sorry we did not pay attention to the pre arrival information the property requested that you filled out twice. Sorry we misgendered your friend (also a hotel guest). Sorry we misspelled the name of another friend (also a hotel guest). Location - Excellent location for shopping and Theater and easy underground Tube connections. Overall - We had high expectations for the Rosewood London, but we are sad to say they were not met.
