Continuing the legacy of the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel and Chiltern Firehouse, The Stratford is a design hotel that does things differently. The Stratford evokes the timeless glamour and maverick social spirit of New York’s legendary long-stay hotels. Set across the first seven levels of The Stratford, is a design hotel with a taste for the spectacular – from the magnificent triple-height lobby and Highline sky terrace to the imposing glass atrium. The interiors, by Space Copenhagen, fuse Scandinavian style with old-world opulence via serene pastel tones, natural timbers and elegant stone bathrooms. The Stratford provides more than you can imagine. Enjoy our pitch-perfect service, a beautiful room and a bed you won’t want to leave. But you might not expect our destination restaurant Allegra with it’s spectacular sky terrace, the secluded Mezzanine cocktail bar, an open kitchen dining bar in Kitchen E20, and a gym.

It was a lovely stay, just requested an earlier check in which was authorised on the phone and unfortunately had to wait over an hour when we got there. The bar staff member in reception was a little snappy.. So the start of the stay was a little doubtful! The hotel room was nice; booked a city view but didn't get one.. But there was a nice marble looking thing outside, we wasn't majorly bothered by this. The stay overall was nice, room was clean, reception staff were lovely. Would stay again.

I met my friend at the E20 restaurant for lunch. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. They deserve top marks. However the food was really disappointing. I had chicken pie and the chicken was very dry. There were no accompaniments despite a price of £26. Sides could be added for £6. My friend described her seafood linguine as oily. My banoffee pie wasn’t that good. I was expecting something a bit better. We paid £90 for two mains, two desserts and a couple of glasses of wine. John Lewis would have been just as good!

Just got back from a work conference here. I need to eat gluten-free and the hotel was excellent - with GF options (delicious ones) available at every meal. And even great cookies with coffee. Really appreciate the effort that was put in. Service and rooms were also excellent but I wanted to highlight the GF food in particular.

We truly enjoyed our stay at The Stratford. We booked here on the Abba Voyage package and would not hesitate recommending to anyone. Great parking next door at the Stratford international train station for less than £10 for 24 hours! Clean, modern, spacious rooms to brilliant customer service. Pre-booked taxis there and back, breakfast and late checkout included in the price. We’ll definitely be back!

Rooms are fabulous, clean and spacious. The bed and pillows possibly the very best I've experienced in a hotel. The staff were friendly and efficient and should be praised for being attentive and "going the extra mile". Toiletries are Jo Malone ! - superb. The only reason this review does not get 5 stars is its food offering. The fish pie for lunch was very dry (as if it had been in an oven for far too long) and the cooked breakfast the following day was really average. Location wise, it is great for transport links, the Westfield shopping centre, the Olympic Park and of course, ABBA Voyage.
