Continuing the legacy of the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel and Chiltern Firehouse, The Stratford is a design hotel that does things differently. The Stratford evokes the timeless glamour and maverick social spirit of New York’s legendary long-stay hotels. Set across the first seven levels of The Stratford, is a design hotel with a taste for the spectacular – from the magnificent triple-height lobby and Highline sky terrace to the imposing glass atrium. The interiors, by Space Copenhagen, fuse Scandinavian style with old-world opulence via serene pastel tones, natural timbers and elegant stone bathrooms. The Stratford provides more than you can imagine. Enjoy our pitch-perfect service, a beautiful room and a bed you won’t want to leave. But you might not expect our destination restaurant Allegra with it’s spectacular sky terrace, the secluded Mezzanine cocktail bar, an open kitchen dining bar in Kitchen E20, and a gym.

Stay in Stratford regularly for work and would say out of all the hotels I’ve stayed at this is my favourite! Super comfy beds and linen, good nights sleep and spacious rooms. Has a lovely 2 night stay here with my partner last week and would be my number 1 choice on the area when booking. Conveniently right outside Stratford International station.

The Stratford Hotel is an excellent choice for business travelers. It offers top-notch accessories, superb soundproofing, and a quiet atmosphere, making it easy to focus and work. The breakfast is high quality, and the location is unbeatable—right next to Westfield Mall, the tube and train station, and Queen Elizabeth Park, perfect for walks. The customer service is exceptional, always resolving issues effortlessly. This is my third stay here for work at the university, and it continues to impress.

Great room, very spacious and clean. The bed and pillows were super soft and comfortable. The reception staff were polite and helpful. Loved the discount that came with being a repeat customer. I had a nice and quiet stay and looking forward to going back soon.

Expectations 10/10 Reality 5/10 The pictures make it look like it’s a hotel picked straight out of Dubai. The hotel claims it has parking on the door step , in which it pretty much does, the price is advertised £8 per day, but on the weekends it £20 per day more or less (event days) We was excited to go on the infinity bar , balcony . And was told it was closed and not actually being used anymore. There are tonnes of photos of this on their website which makes it look elegant. We paid an upgrade to the ‘larger room’ which we assumed may have a bath / decorated room as you see in the lovely pictures on the website , but instead was just a accessible shower with a seat. The rooms had no complimentary water , in which even much more basic hotels have . We had to go downstairs to order a bottle of water to take up , which is not ideal when it was horrendously busy . This hotel sort of shares its reception hotel area with a bar. When I got back up I realised there was no glasses , so I had to go back down! Only to be told (they’re tucked away in one of the cupboards)! We didn’t know about the deposit charge of £50 , which wasn’t a problem on the day. But for some people whom has limited income , or absolutely not interested in using the minibar , there is pointless . Meant there was no chance of a speedy check out in the morning. When I did receive the refund . I was only refunded £46 , which I thought maybe they’ve charged me for something in the minibar. Only £4 I know , but I called to query , just in principle , and they said , the £4 was a service charge for using the hotel. (New one to me) The website also shows lovely views of London , which we was put on the side showing the train station . Even know we’d asked if we could have a nice view / higher . We’d paid for the ‘better room’. Albeit wasn’t a lot more expensive. The young lad , with cornrows on reception was very nice. I didn’t catch his name. Certainly lead customer service as an example to others. Also another really young lad who worked in the bar area / waiter area . Was as well .
