Great stay for one night to go to the Royal Court Theatre. Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was very clean and quiet with a lovely comfortable bed. The shower was excellent! Good proximity to Victoria Station. Will definitely visit again.

This hotel is simply not a 5 star experience. Room was small, no desk, no coat hooks and just too many buttons and gadgets which were unnecessary. The bathroom was tiny yet the mirror had a built in tv in case you planned to stay in there for a while. The only way to watch this would be whilst stood up using the toilet. Privacy glass option on the bathroom door and shower partition through to the bedroom were just pointless. The main TV was running an Apple TV and had loads of apps installed, but AirPlay didn’t work and I didn’t really want to enter my account login details to the various streaming apps that were installed. I also cannot recall ever being asked for a deposit in case of accidental damages, even in less than 5 star places. Hmmm.

Whilst a stylish, well modernised with character and in a brilliant location, the Ecclestone Square Hotel probably doesn’t meet a 5* standard that I’d expect. No tea making facilities in room, just coffee. No complimentary snack. A hairdryer that kept cutting out and no plugs near a mirror to see what you are styling. Too many buttons for lightning with no indication of which does what. Couldn’t adjust heating, again another touch screen panel which didn’t seem to allow amendment. These feel like things you shouldn’t have to work around at this level of standard. The waterfall shower was a bonus and I liked the option for plugs / charging. Nicely decorated and modern boutique style hotel.

This hotel is wonderful, especially for a solo traveller. Not only is the hotel beautiful, it was a warm, welcoming home from home. The amenities are gorgeous! I loved the L'Occitane bathroom products, and the APPLE TV was brilliant. The beds here are the best in London. I had a room with a balcony, it is a small room, but it was so beautiful and I felt very safe and comfortable. The hotel is very calm, I really didn't want to leave. Eccleston Square Hotel is in a great location, I was meeting friends at the Royal Albert Hall - it was only five minutes away in an uber. And the next morning I was took a train to the Lake District from Euston. This hotel is perfectly located. I whole-heartedly recommend this little gem.

This hotel is all style and no substance. The room and use of technology and apps is trying way to hard to be clever but at the expense of usability and guest experience. The Android TV in my room just didn't work and rather than have to get dressed while a receptionist came to my room with a 'special' remote control, I chose just to forego any TV during my stay. The room was clean but cramped and missing simple things like hooks to hang your coat on, a table that you can sit at and work. Why oh why are there enough cushions and strips of spurious fabric on the bed that it is a fight to get in the thing? The management of this hotel needs to think about getting the basics right before trying to make your whole room feel like you are living in the 'App' from hell. If you value comfort, basic human necessities, lights, heating and a TV that just work without faff, then DO NOT STAY HERE.
