This place is trying to be very high end, and while it is incredibly well located and the staff is very fancy, the rooms are small, the bed was hard, and the whole building is very dated. The lock on our room ran out of batteries when we came back at night, we were turned away from the bar before last call, and things weren't done when we asked. They clean constantly - I would swap that for updates! But beautiful building and excellent location, so if that's what you need it's there.

My partner was celebrating her 40th birthday. Thank you so much for the bottle of Prosecco in our room. The level of service was exemplary from everyone - the bar staff, the reception team, the breakfast staff - and the facilities were amazing. I would like to make special mention of Serge. His badge identified him as a trainee but we both found him to be an absolute credit to your hotel. He was friendly, polite and went out of his way to attend to us whenever we were in the lobby area. We would definitely book again. And we had a wonderful experience. Thank you.

Just home from another great 3-night stay at Flemings Mayfair. From the moment I check-in I always feel relaxed at the hotel and Flemings is always my first choice when staying in London. The Mayfair location is perfect for a walk in Green Park, checking out the terrific nearby art galleries (including Maddox, Halcyon, the Royal Academy, Portland Gallery and Moco Museum London), a spot of shopping in Fortnum’s and New Bond Street and the hotel is walking distance to the West End theatres plus the cinemas in Leicester Square. The hotel is 3 mins walk to Green Park tube station and there are numerous bus routes that stop outside the tube station. The Buffet breakfast offering is impressive and the Full English breakfast was a delight. I loved the Asprey Purple Water shampoo, shower gel and body lotion in my bathroom. The Andy Gotts celebrity photos dotted around the hotel and the guest rooms are fun including Robert DeNiro and Harrison Ford. Andrew, the Head Concierge, is very friendly. Lorena (who I have known for over 10 years since she previously worked at The Capital hotel in Basil Street) is an angel and went out of her way to make my belated-Birthday treat to myself special by surprising me with a bottle of Prosecco, red roses and a helium balloon in my room. She is very personable and makes a point of speaking to all the hotel guests over breakfast. I cannot wait to return in February.

I had an exceptional experience at Flemings Mayfair – it’s rare to find such outstanding service at a hotel. Everything was perfect: the room was superb, and the basement bar had the loveliest staff and the most delicious cocktails. All the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always with a smile. There was absolutely nothing missing. I’m already planning to return next year with my family, no doubt about that.

Our stay at Flemings Mayfair was a major contrast to the luxurious experience we anticipated from a 5-star hotel, and was a big letdown. While the location was very convenient, the quality of service and accommodations fell far short of expectations. From the beginning, we felt undervalued and maybe even "punished" as Diamond Hilton Honors members using points towards our stay. Despite the hotel being a part of the Hilton family, we were treated differently from guests who had booked without using points. Upon check in, we asked if we could get an upgrade based on our diamond status and was told that there was no availability but the next time we were in the lobby, a letter explicitly stated that our Hilton status and benefits would not be fully honored, which was both surprising and disappointing. The concierge staff was particularly rude and unhelpful, making us feel bad that we were staying as a Hilton client, further exacerbating our negative experience. We asked how to get the shuttle to the airport that was listed on the website as complimentary to only be told that this was only available to “paying” customers and not people “staying for free”. The room was incredibly small, lacking basic amenities that one would expect from a hotel of this caliber. The bed was made up of two twin mattresses pushed together, with a dip in the middle of the bed making for uncomfortable nights. The thin walls made it difficult to escape noise disturbances, and the small television offered limited entertainment options. The staff in the bar area were very friendly and helpful which was a nice breath of fresh air! While the location was a plus, it couldn’t compensate for the poor service and subpar accommodations. I would strongly advise travelers to seek accommodations that offer a higher luxury of service, especially if you are staying as a Hilton guest.
