Good Hotel London is a re-designed platform located right on the water and offering views over the river Thames and city of London. From the outside, it looks like a giant, black container, with green roof and small windows. Inside, however, the design and atmosphere encourage groups to sit, eat and chat together. The reception is glued with a bar, and a library in one big lounging area. The hotel's look is different to others because its offers training and jobs to long-term unemployed people in the local community. The hotel rooms range between a cozy and a roomy and boasting a smart layout and contemporary aesthetics.

A wonderful waterside retreat. Staff are amazing, food is fabulous, and the view from the rooftop bar is hard to beat. I love that it is so close to both the DLR and the Cloud line. Convenient for Indian Docks, Greenwich, and the LCA. I come back every time I’m in London.

Check in was easy. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Our room was just right. It had everything we needed. We loved the named rooms with the photo of a child you were helping. A really lovely idea. Breakfast was really good & the dining room/seating areas are very comfy & you get great views over the water. Overall we had a great experience.

The staff were really helpful and couldn’t do enough for us, the beds were so comfortable and we slept really well, the hotel was quiet and relaxing, with all mod cons, the breakfast was good too and the hotel was really easy to find. Very near the tube station

The staff were all very nice and I love the idea behind the ethos of the hotel but unfortunately I hardly got any sleep as very noisy. There was a lot of street noise from traffic but worse was the constant noise of banging and what sounded like a hairdryer which might not have been but it went on for early hours of the morning. Possibly rooms on other side of the hotel( River side might be quieter?

Sorry, we were with a tour group. This is the worst hotel we stayed in. Two old people living in a matchbox. You certainly couldn’t swing a cat. Even the “ cupboard “ were nails on the wall. Really there is no way you could be comfortable in this hotel. Nice location. Nice breakfast.
