Kimpton Fitzroy London

Amazing building. Excellent location. Check-in was average. The room was a disappointment due to the view and the size of the room. The breakfast and bar staff were fantastic, they were kind attentive and hardworking. The manager Monika does a great job and organizes the work of the team, she is smiling and kind! It is rare that a manager is involved in the work. My maximum appreciation.

My husband and I both adored this hotel, one of the nicest we've ever stayed in, where we stayed for eight nights! Even then, it was hard to leave. Because we used points for our airfares from NYC, we splurged on our room and stayed in a park view one-bedroom suite. The room and the entire hotel were immaculate; our room was cleaned daily to perfection and freshened in the evening. Except for alcohol, the treats and soft drinks in the mini-fridge were free, as were waters. The bathtub in the room was a delight; I even purchased a set of three Kimpton Fitzroy "rubber duckies" to take home. The rain shower was equally luxurious and the bed and linens were too. The view of Russell Square gardens was lovely (and would be even nicer a little later in the season, when the trees would be full and lush); the room was quiet as can be [on the sixth floor] and the breakfasts [included in our price] were sumptuous. We both loved the porridge, the array of smoothies, egg dishes, and yogurts, and I enjoyed the egg white omelette [an add-on but worth it]. Location was a few steps from the Russell Square tube and various bus stops, including one we used frequently to get to Kings Place; the British Museum where we went twice was a couple of blocks away. There's a cafe in the Russell Square gardens we enjoyed for lunch [outside, believe it or not -- the weather was great]. Concierge, front desk, waitstaff at breakfast -- all were great. We also enjoyed the free happy hours.

Truly a home away from home for me - and my favorite hotel in the world. Everyone is so exceptionally kind - Jack, Carlos, Westley and the entire team are wonderful! The Kimpton Fitzroy never disappoints and I look forward to many more stays in the future!

This is a very calming and elegant hotel. I had a very small room but it was very well presented, quiet and comfortable. The lifts are a little unusual but you get used to them. Staff helpful and friendly. Perfect location for central London activities.

This is quite simply a fabulous hotel. We stayed overnight and we were so impressed that we’re returning for a weekend break soon. The architecture of the building is stunning, and the interior beautiful. We dined in the brasserie, thoroughly enjoying both the meal and atmosphere. Breakfast here the next morning was equally enjoyable. Without exception, the staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful, adding to the pleasure of our visit. We also appreciated the extent to which the hotel is pet friendly. Our dog loved her stay as much as we did, rushing back up to the steps after each walk around the gardens opposite! Our stay was a wonderful experience and we can’t recommend it highly enough, - The Escreet family
