Welcome to The Londoner. A staggering edifice on the south west corner of Leicester Square, it is a stage for drama and theatrics. A tribute to the artists, visionaries and eccentrics of the city. Teeming with experiences, its striking spaces and intimate nooks play host to inimitable dining, performances and exhibitions. This is a luxury London hotel, reimagined for the global citizen. The Londoner’s restaurants and bars reflect the city’s eclectic dining scene. Elegant Japanese cuisine features alongside a contemporary take on the French Mediterranean. Bright and airy spaces for breakfast and brunch contrast intimate cocktail and Champagne bars, whilst the rooftop sets the scene for spectacular gazing and grazing. Beneath the historic Leicester Square, an urban haven for holistic pampering awaits. Recharge in the spa. Rejuvenate in the gymnasium. Sip a detoxifying juice or let the hours slip away in the beauty parlour.

First time in London, was excited to stay somewhere nice in an area that would allow us to see most of the staples of London. We felt very unwelcome at the hotel, our shower flooded every time we used it, and on the weekends their top floor bar is so loud it kept us up to 2 am. Overall for a 5 star hotel it was very disappointing. I would suggest staying elsewhere.

A beautifully presented hotel. It is absolutely immaculate and stylish; modern but warm. The food and drinks were excellent quality. Service was very attentive. Well located for central London. I would definitely return and recommend.

The toilet did not have a door. From a search on this website it’s not the first time somebody has complained about this. Judging by the response from the general manager on this other review this is definitely not the norm. Our room did not have a toilet door. It was clear from the holes in the wall for the hinges that a toilet door did previously exist. I suspect it has been damaged and not replaced rather than purposefully removed. I expressed my concern with reception staff who said some rooms have them and some rooms don’t, it’s just customer preference. I have previously stay here on 2 occasions, both times the toilet had a door. We were given an alternative room. I heavily suspect the glass doors are expensive to replace and this hasn’t been done and they’re just hoping customers do not complain about this. 5 star luxury boutique hotels should come with a toilet room door. It’s ridiculous we were even put in this situation and then told well some of the rooms are just like that. The other thing I found particularly insulting and irksome was the discretionary service charge added upon checking out. Never stayed in a hotel where they have tried to add a service charger. This is something you expect from a budget airline not a 5 star hotel costing hundreds of pounds a night. The impressions left with me of your hotel are of a service suffering budget cuts and penny pinching rather than the luxurious boutique hotel advertised. Very unlikely to be returning in the future after this experience.
