The Mayfair Townhouse

The Mayfair Townhouse is a gem in London. My friend and I stayed there on an extended weekend trip to celebrate our birthdays and had a simply wonderful experience. We were looking for accommodations in a great neighborhood, as women we were looking for safe, modern, and easily accessible without worrying about crime, etc. We considered several properties but the chic vibe along with a traditional English feel intrigued us so we booked our 4-night stay and don't regret a thing. Upon our arrival where we were greeted by a kind lobby attendant who was happy to help us to the check-in desk who handled our check-in and gave us an idea of a quick walking tour of the neighborhood while we waited for our rooms to be ready everyone provided excellent customer service. The lobby is well appointed with a bar, clean and modern, as are the rooms. I had originally booked a cabin room but upgraded my reservation to a classic. The room was perfect for someone traveling alone or with a partner. The bed was very comfortable, the aesthetic chic and functional. It was very comfortable and the bathroom was generous. A pet peeve is when there isn't a place for toiletries/make-up (my bathroom had a ledge that held everything). The bath products are lovely. If you like a soak, the bath will accommodate you...and the shower was nice with both handheld and overhead showers, not all that common in Europe. The mini bar was complimentary so I was able to have free water and snacks! As is the customer in London, the room ran hot, which might be my only complaint, but easily remedied! The neighborhood is amazing, we walked and taxi-ed everywhere so I do not know about proximity to the tube, but I do think it is close! Highly recommend for your visit and I would stay there again!

We had a wonderful stay. We were greeted by a very happy & helpful doorman and our room was just stunning. The entire hotel was very clean and all of the staff were incredibly accommodating!

Very elegant and refined, located in the heart of Mayfair which features a plethora of interesting and luxurious locales: there's always something to do. Easy transport for getting to any place within Central London as well. Our room was spacious and comfortable, the food and service were gentle and thoughtful as well. All in all just a great week or so here, would recommend!

Would recommend Mayfair townhouse for anyone looking for a hotel in the Mayfair area. The staff were very helpful always the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is on a nice quiet street with access to the tube just across the road. Will stay here again
