Shangri-La The Shard, London

This a present from from our family and it really was a five star experience. We went for Sunday BrunchThe Shard is an amazing place to visit - the views were spectacular. The staff were amazing especially our server Asore. He was so helpful answering questions about the food and helping us.to choose our food. He was very knowledgeable about everything. friends The food was excellent. We were both amazed by the flavour of the tomato starter. We made different choices for the main course and both were delicious. This was followed by a buffet of cheeses and desserts. Included in the package was a glass of sparkling wine. It was a British wine and we enjoyed it so much we will be ordering some ourselves. Would highly recommend this

Wall-to-wall luxury! From the moment we arrived, every detail of our stay felt thoughtfully curated to make it special. Little touches like slippers left by the bed, complimentary treats, and even tidying our personal items when we went to dinner made us feel so well cared for. Yes, it’s on the pricier side, but the service is truly exceptional and absolutely worth every penny. A perfect choice for a memorable and indulgent stay—highly recommended!

An incredible location and views are not to be understated, nor are the lovely rooms are the most light and airy in London. But the Jewel of the Hotel is the staff. The best in the business. Highly recommended for security, views, incredible drink at the Gong Bar, great food in the Lobby and the most gracious and helpful Staff. A must for anyone visiting London.

Staying at Shangri-La The Shard in London was an unforgettable experience. Even before our arrival, the reservations and concierge teams reached out with thoughtful recommendations for our visit, as it was my best friend and I's first time in the city. Upon arrival, the security and guest services staff were incredibly welcoming and ensured a smooth check-in process, handling our luggage with care and prioritizing our safety. Throughout our stay, we were especially impressed by the exceptional service from Jehan, Bethany, and Dylan, who were always friendly and eager to assist. We were delighted to learn that our room had been upgraded, and we received a thoughtful welcome amenity—such a nice personal touch. Surendhar Annam from housekeeping went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. His attention to detail was remarkable: after a long day of sightseeing, we noticed only one luggage stand in the room. Without us asking, Surendhar had already placed a second one for our additional luggage and had neatly folded our clothes while replenishing toiletries—truly exceptional service. We also enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea at The Ting Restaurant, where the food, service, and views were all outstanding. The health club and pool facilities were equally impressive, offering a perfect way to unwind. Overall, Shangri-La The Shard offers a top-tier experience in every aspect—service, ambiance, location, and amenities—and I can’t wait to return.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! All the staff was so friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay superb nothing to much trouble. Elias was friendly and very helpful at the desk on checking in The hotel it’s self was amazing, spotless clean and the views from the room was fantastic. We will be back!
