Shangri-La The Shard, London

Not many words may describe the service John and Leon (apologies if name has been spelt wrong!) gave at way beyond exceptional service and this is beyond rare, it was also friendly, authentic and welcoming, if more good employees were like they were and less complaints would be made. They honestly did it with a huge smile which is rare to see to see compared to staff ar “Gong” so I’m grateful to end the night with the singers, Server and bartenders on the ground floor and super grateful.

This was the best hotel I have ever stayed at. I went with my 84 year old mum, it was on her bucket list. I think it’s the attention to detail, the wonderful staff, who made the whole experience special from start to finish. They cared and I honestly couldn’t fault one bit of this experience! I would absolutely recommend.

The view over London was amazing. My waiter Anbu was very helpful and nice. The atmosphere was really warm and the music was very relaxing. Free olives and nuts and some birthday shots went down a treat. Thank you everyone for making this such a special experience.

Came here to celebrate my son’s 18th birthday! The staff was wonderful and really made it feel special with how they treated us. The venue is beautiful with wonderful views. We had hoped to catch the sunset, but it was an overcast evening. Even without the sunset, a great experience. Luis waited on us and was super!

After just 3 nights at this unique hotel, I feel totally refreshed: I spent a weekend at Shangri-La The Shard at the end of October. I come here twice a year: We had a room with a view to the Tower Bridge. Seeing this landmark from above at all times of the day is special. The view of London is breathtaking, the breakfast and food in the TING restaurant is amazing. We always end the evening in the GONG bar on the 52nd floor: The service and friendliness of the staff is excellent throughout the hotel. I'm already looking forward to staying at this hotel again next year.
