Beware of uncleanliness!
We have been coming here for years and have had nothing but good stays. Since Opal has taken over, this place has not lived up to its high standards. Opal management does not care about cleanliness. We had a giant Palmetto Bug (Cockroach) in our garbage and found smeared nasal waste on the side of the bed clearly visible. We told management and they of course apologized and offered a mere refund of a resort fee and a minimal upgrade fee. Clearly our contentment was disregarded. At $500+ a night this place is not worth it anymore.

Great stay!!!!!
Had the best time at the Key Club!! I have to say customer service is top notch!! Kimberly made it a magical vacation! We spent a lot of time on the beach here Longboat Key must be one of the beaches in the US. The room was beautiful and I will definitely be back!!

Fantastic Family Stay
We had a fantastic stay at Longboat Key Club. Our family suite was well furnished and we made good use of the washer/dryer and kitchen area. The elevator was slow and not working at times, but that is the only inconvenience we experienced. Our ocean view was SPECTACULAR. The weather allowed us to sleep with the balcony doors open, and the close sound of the ocean made it seem as though we were sleeping right on the beach. The private beach was minutes away from our room. It wasn't crowded and there was plenty of space for my kids to run around and play soccer/football/ build sandcastles. While the ocean water was too cold to enjoy, my kids had fun rotating between the pool and hot tub. The hot tub was a little crowded one evening, but all the other nights we had it mostly to ourselves. We utilized the beautiful clay tennis courts each day. We were a little disappointed to learn of the $25 per day per person fee for pickleball, but the ample and available tennis courts included with our stay made up for it. We are already planning a trip back here next year. Would absolutely recommend.

Best Resort in Florida
A world class resort. We love the marina-fitness center-golf, tennis, pickleball and all the delicious restaurants. Great staff you are treated so nice. We love that they drive us to St Armands circle. This location is beautiful for walking on the beach.

Great beach!!!!
The beach is amazing and the employees that serve you on the beach were so sweet and quick to help you while setting up your chairs towels running you food and drinks Those we thought were especially great were Alex, Natalie, Sam and Jason! Great jobs you all! Thank you you made our stay even more enjoyable!!!! :)

Longboat Key Club & Resort without a doubt should be listed as a five-star resort. The staff, location, cuisine and activities all equate to the favorite all time resort at which my family loves to stay. The two-bedroom deluxe unit is outstanding with an unbeatable view. Longboat Key is close to St. Armands Circle so shopping is a fabulous day trip. The new spa at the Key Club is also a nice relaxing day. Tennis, golf and water sports on property, but nothing beats the beautiful white fine sugar sand of the Gulf of Mexico. The evenings bring the best in many gourmet restaurants within close proximity, and most are listed in Wine Spectator. No matter where our family goes in the world, this resort is our all time favorite!
