Reviews for La Mision Loreto

Very good experience

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

Stayed here for 4 nights prior to and one night following a Lindblad whale expedition. Overall a great experience. Both of the rooms we had overlooked the pool/Malecon/sea of Cortez. They were good size (configured differently but same amenities) and very comfortable. There are a few quirks. Lighting a bit dim and minimal options for charging devices. There were no usb type of options and regular electric outlets only in bathroom (2) and under small writing desk (1). Rooms were very clean. Sitting on the balcony was very nice. As others have noted, the noise from both the pool area and the street can be a bit intense. We were there when they had a carnival and watching floats going up the street at night was fun. Very good location, in easy walking distance of everything. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Reviewing restaurant separately. Would recommend staying.

Best stay ever!!!!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

This was our first stay in Loreto and LaMision. Have to say our experience was absolutely perfect. Staff, accommodations, food and beverage were all excellent. Will most definitely stay here again when we return to Loreto. Edson, Josue, Jose and Victor took great care of us. Massage was perfect and relaxing too. Conceriege Angelique was so helpful in answering our questions and making our arrangements! Scott has done a wonderful job!

Couldn’t be better!

I can’t say enough about this hotel and its staff. After a trip that included delays, missed flights and lost luggage they couldn’t have been more kind and accommodating. Beautiful location, lovely rooms and comfortable beds, the restaurant is excellent, the buffet breakfast is great. And again the staff is just terrific! Highly recommended! Judith

Beautiful Loreto

Beautiful hotel. The location is prime, the view marvelous and the hospitality is a 5 out of 5. Our beautiful room was very spacious, super clean with a glorious view of the Sea of Cortez. We enjoyed lounging in our huge patio. Everyone working here is welcoming, attentive, very polite and very kind. On Sunday , there is a delicious buffet , well worth it. Although there is a Starbucks in the hotel for your morning coffee, it would be nice to have a “breakfast included” option in our room rate. There needs to be a little more light so we can read at night. Overall I give it a 5!

Nice Place But Needs Upgrades

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

Beautiful building and helpful, professional people. Our room was 301 on the southwest corner (front, oceanside) of the building. Sparsely furnished and not enough available lighting. Lots of noise from hot rods all day and into the wee hours. But a nice balcony overlooking Sea of Cortez. They could use new pillows, as theirs are much too plush and some USB plugs (none in the room, had to use an adapter). Considering some of these flaws, the price was too high for our room.
