Reviews for Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel

Great staff

Excellent courteous staff from car valet to front desk to Gold Club staff. Kevin in the Gold Club was very helpful and accommodating and made great coffee. all staff were professional and pleasant. The hotel was cleaned and well maintained. Coffee and water in our room was constantly replenished. This is our second stay in 2 months to visit our daughter at a nearby college. Proximity to Westfield mall is a plus

Not bad but not great either.

Overall good experience....but valet was terrible. Balconies in rooms on southside of hotel overlooks construction and urban sprawl. Breakfast was excellent. Dinner was OK. Location is kind of bland. When you pay premium you want to love your experience. We didn't love our experience.

Best Fairmont

We had to go to Century City for a business trip. I did not want to deal with the grid lock LA traffic everyday so we just booked the Fairmont for several days. I was gone most days, but other than that did not leave the hotel at all. It was wonderful and there is no reason to leave. the Fairmont Century Plaza is completely redone and has 315 guest rooms and 85 suites. All of them have private terraces. It is just beautiful and right across the street from the business area of Century City. They have a great Reve Spa with several treatment rooms. There is a Himalayan salt room which I tried for the first time and loved it. My favorite, however was the aromatherapy steam room, it is just so calming and relaxing. There is nothing not to like about this Fairmont. Now, they say they are a short drive to Santa Monica, which is sort of true, and the beach. But now you will be in traffic the entire time. I suggest you take Olympic Blvd. if you have to leave the room. We had dinner each night at Lumiere, which is a sort of a French eatery that is amazing. We did not have a bad meal there. The service by all of the staff is just great. From valet to housekeeping we were very happy. The place is beautiful and spotless. It is pricey and not near a lot of tourist places you may want to go to, but it is sort of in the middle of the City so you can get around. Have the best time.

The best preparation we could ask for the night before our visit to The Getty Museum!

Ambiance and service. Todd provided truly outstanding customer service to us, especially in guiding us to fully understand all the amenities available to us. Others in the Gold Lounge treated us like Royalty. The food, wine and cocktails couldn’t have been better!
