Wow! What a cool, hip and fun place with incredible customer service. We loved Loren and Gabby so much, they really made us feel welcome! Heck, they all did! We loved every minute and want to go back so we can experience more! Can't wait for our next trip to Hollywood!

The staff was incredibly curt and generally rude. Not to mention the most inhospitable treatment I've ever had. I don't care what community college you got your hospitality degree from. You're working at what is basically one step up from a best western . This hotel should not have a four star. . Everything about it is cheap and caneer. It seems like it was an imposition for them to do anything. You had to notify them 24 hours in advance if you wanted your room cleaned??? in what world does a four-star hotel not have that included on a daily basis? This is a 2.5 star at best. The only reason it would even have anywhere near that star rating is because it's next to the Mondrian which I had a lovely stay at the week prior . Total waste of money. I would've stayed at the Econo Lodge or motel 6 Had I known what it would be like. I checked in late and when I tried to call the hotel i was hung up on by the Girl at the Front Desk because the background music was so loud she couldn't hear me . When I did finally make it to the hotel the music was still so loud that I misunderstood what the girl saying and I was visibly in duress over not knowing what was going on. That my reservation hadn't gone through. Turns out that I did not have money on my cash app account for the incidental . Which by the way was incredibly absorbent however, easy fix to transfer over once I was able to walk outside the hotel to be able to think without the mind numbing concert going on in the lobby . They treated me like I was some bum off the street because my card didn’t work and must have made a note about me because I was given rude treatment from the staff the rest of the trip. Once in the room the walls were paper thin and I could hear the two bros on the other side going at it all night. After my first night I woke up the next morning to ants calling all over my clothes and luggage. The room had an infestation of them...they moved me to another room and the ants were no longer a problem. Between the rude and generally inhospitable check in. Subsequent treatment from the people who called me a "guest" the loud music , the thin walls , and the ants .. I had to cancel work the next day because all of that had made me so sick to my stomach that I was throwing up and having diarrhea.. Top it all off . Upon check out they charged me an additional amount of money as a resort hotel fee... for what!?the 1 crummy and too sweet with cheap tequila margarita that was all heartburn and no buzz. 0 stars and on a scale of 1-5 I would also put it at 0. If you find yourself in a similar situation then pack up your bag and head to the Mondrian next door for superb treatment in a clean and bug free environment. I am still currently battling severe neck/ shoulder pain and ibs related issues due to the duress that staying in this place gave me . The unprofessional vibe as well as the corners they cut become so much more than apparent the longer you stay . I’ve never been a guest in a place where I was looked at from down a smug nose. I wish I could get my money back so that i can go to a chiropractor and reset the stress damage caused by this band of thick skulled jerks.

This is a fun hotel with lots going for it. I paid for “breakfast included” but was told at check in that it wasn’t. I was offered an “upgrade” but then my room was dark and looked out into a BBQ. Would not recommend room 121. Really unappealing view. Saving grace they didn’t fire it up while I was there.. not sure how that would have worked. The rest of the room was comfortable and clean. Some of the staff were pretty great and others… not so much. I had two guests come to my room and someone at reception was pretty rude to them when they checked which room I was in. The first floor was quiet but I heard that people on the 3rd floor were really unimpressed with the Halloween party last night. Their restaurant menu could really use an update too. The pool looked great though. Not sure I will stay there again for my next trip in the spring or recommend it.

I am truly shocked and even disappointed by the behavior of this renowned establishment, famous for its history. It all started when my friend returned to her room on the night of October 10th, only to find it infested with large cockroaches. She had to leave the hotel at 11 p.m. and find another place to stay, as they had no other option to offer except a promise of a refund for the night, which they still haven’t reimbursed. Due to her phobia, they completely ruined her stay in Los Angeles. Upon her arrival, they blocked $300 from her card as a security deposit, which they also haven’t returned yet. When I called them today, they didn’t even want to know why I was calling. They just told me to send an email explaining my issue and hung up the phone on me.

Amazing vibe and awesome pool. Rooms were excellent and food was fantastic. Live music venue in the hotel was the cherry on top. Very cool that you can borrow instruments to play. Location is very central in West Hollywood. Highly recommended.
