Hotel Ziggy Los Angeles

I came during a very sensitive time, a lot going on in Los Angeles, we came into this hotel on a whim and was instantly greeted by a surprisingly welcoming staff. We sat at the lobby bar and Mattie and Iliana were the sight for sore eyes we needed. It was like a breath of fresh air. Not only was the hotel super modern but one thing I will say was from walking in from valet and checking in and having a drink at the bar exceeded my expectations. Will be back! Also if you do stay here, don’t hesitate to sit at the lobby bar bc the energy and service is 20 out of 10.

Tuesday January 7 2025 the fire started in Pacific Palisades and in the afternoon the fire came rushing up Topanga and we had to evacuate in panic. We took shelter at the Ziggy Hotel and after two days there the staff felt almost like family. Especially during the second evening when another fire - The Sunset fire - broke out nearby in the Hollywood Hills the staff was of great help. That meant a lot. Thanks to Matthew and Brandon in the reception and the rest of the staff for being there. Apart from that Ziggy is a cool hotel and this will be a experience we’ll never forget.

Bar staff where the best. Miss Jackson and the lady with the glasses were so welcoming and looked after us. They put in a genuine effort to make us feel welcomed in Los Angeles. Will be staying at this hotel whenever we are back here because of them.

Hotel Ziggy was a great find in West Hollywood. It was a little more hip and a little more eclectic than my usual hotel choices, but I was very pleased with everything about my stay. First the staff was super friendly and willing to help in every way, from the desk people at check in to the valet parking attendants to the bar staff. The rooms were clean and modern updates of an older building, but all the usual amenities were there. The location was perfect and I was completely satisfied with my stay.

Brandon at the front desk was very helpful, I had to switch a few trip details that could have been complicated but he made it easy for me. I had to use multiple rooms and rent out the filming room for a recording and that typically can include annoying red tape, he made it happen and I’ll be back while in LA on business.
