Very disappointed in my one night stay. Had to wait 15 minutes to check in. Standard room is comfortable, but small. Pool is lousy. Narrow, in the shade by 230pm, a total of maybe 5 chairs at most. Worst of all, I was leaving in the morning at 530am and wanted some coffee before the long drive ahead of me. So I asked for a Keurig machine to be delivered to my room, which they advertise. Front desk says "no problem". Three hours later when I return from dinner, no coffee maker. I call the front desk and get put on hold for over 20 minutes. I go to the front desk, and there are 5 people waiting in line at 930pm. So I give up. This is the service you get in a hotel with rooms over $400/night? The check out person was very apologetic and he did remove the parking charge from my bill, but this is just not acceptable. Won't be back.

This is a decent hotel in a good location. Pros: Pillows - your option of down or foam or both, bed was comfortable, location is great, staff are lovely, if you forget something they go out of their way to help, and are generally friendly and helpful. Cons: no coffee at all after 10 am; bathroom/shower were minimal, though bath products are good, parking is $50 a night. Hotels in this area are expensive and this is a pretty good one for a lot less.

Average hotel , very dated rooms that need repair and attention. Bed very comfy but that was the only plus . Hotel staff on reception could tell customers about the perks that are available to guests as part of the amenities fee , they seem to want to bypass telling people this and you find out from here on tripadvisor . The hotel has a small shop area in the lobby but the prices are expensive. In a nice area of west Beverly Hills but it’s quite a distance to any of the main attractions other than rodeo drive etc and you have to get taxis everywhere

This hotel is just ok and I would not stay again. There were just too many cons: -Banging doors in the night (this type of hotel guests are not my people) -Food trays/glassware left in hallway for hours and hours -Cars racing by on Wilshire Boulevard -Air con only adjustable to 68 -Room decor no better than a 3-star hotel -Low end bathroom with single sink I spent a fair amount on this stay but I guess you must overpay for something decent in LA.

We stayed at the Kimpton Palomar for five days when we came here for a business/family trip. The hotel is pretty amazing because the $33 guest fee includes daily: $15 credit voucher towards self parking or food at the lobby or at the restaurant, digital press, reader, digital access to newspaper, and magazines, digital tablets that you can borrow, a daily free Lyft drop off within 2 miles radius of your hotel, complementary EV charging, a nightly 5 to 6 PM wine hour reception, a business center, a fitness center with peloton bikes, beach kits that you can borrow, as well as bikes. If you enjoy the happy hour, then you will definitely get your money’s worth here. The happy hour was very nice because every day they had a premade rum cocktail +2 types of wine as well as an appetizer free for guests. The eating area includes a video game Cabinet, a pool table, shuffleboard, as well as ski ball and darts! We barely had to leave the hotel to enjoy ourselves. The hotel is centrally located and very close to UCLA so you can use the free Lyft ride easily and go to Rodeo Drive, UCLA’s Westwood Village, as well as other places that are close by. Overall, we loved staying at this hotel and did not really use the pool even though it was very quaint and well appointed. The hotel is full of amenities and things to do as well as friendly staff for the most part. We did have a little bit of a snag when we checked in because the receptionist did not tell us anything about the hotel, including all of these amenities and did not give us the welcome sheet telling us what was available and what was not. However, after speaking to the concierge, everything was fixed and we had a wonderful stay for the week. I would highly recommend this for business people because it’s a great atmosphere to do work at the tables and lounge areas, and an awesome coffee bar in the morning that has hot and iced coffee. It’s also great for families because there are games for the kids, a pool, and the food is rather delicious. Finally I would probably return here because it was easy to get to, it was centrally located, and the staff were attentive.
