Hilton Los Cabos Beach & Golf Resort

This is long, but we just love Hilton Los Cabos and want to recognize their stellar staff. One word to describe Hilton Los Cabos: PARADISE. This hotel is our favorite out of every hotel we have ever stayed at (anywhere) which is why we have made it our family vacation spot for a few years. The rooms are very spacious and beautifully-appointed; I want my bathroom at home to look like theirs. We love the pools, waterslide and kid’s club…especially my husband because it means we enjoy adult time and loads of ceviche at Mio while knowing the rest of the family is close by. The food is absolutely delicious, regardless of which restaurant you visit. It’s not “something for everyone” – it’s “EVERYTHING for everyone.” What truly brings us back year after year is the staff. We were so impressed that many of the restaurant staff remembered us from last year. I have never experienced that before. We visited Sotol every day and Rodolfo took care of us most of them. He was the first employee that remembered us from last year. What a wonderful surprise! We started going for the convenient lobby location and perfect view, but we kept returning for him…and the food of course. The menu is varied and not your typical “lobby bar.” Even the pickiest eaters in our group found something to enjoy every day. Gerardo also took great care of us. Joel at Talavera was our breakfast server almost every morning and he started our day perfectly each time. What a glowing personality! By Day 3, he had our drinks ready, was chatting with our family like a long-lost friend and was very attentive without being overbearing. Each year, we splurge on one special dinner at Lena. Daniel also remembered us from last year which made the already-incredible experience even more magical. We ate here on our first year and now it’s something our family looks forward to ALL YEAR LONG. We tell everyone about the Tomahawk steak and the view and everything. I love that the Hilton Los Cabos has become an integral part of our vacation memories and it’s all thanks to their incredible culinary team and servers. Cesar and the entire team at Mio worked tirelessly to keep up with the non-stop orders. The food there is my favorite. Our family could live on the poke bowl, Thai ceviche and margarita pizza. In fact, we did! We ordered them every day and now we compares all other pizza to that one. Nayam at the Concierge desk was proactive, professional and very helpful in planning our vacation. I was thrilled to get to meet her upon arrival. I normally plan everything for our family so Nayam was a gift in coordinating dining reservations and other activities. It was so nice to have someone else, a very kind local expert, take care of these details. Ruth in the Housekeeping department attended to our room during most of our stay and did a fabulous job. She was like the magician who made sense of our family’s somewhat chaotic room and the few times we actually got to see her, she was just lovely. Like I said, PARADISE. We are counting the days until our return.

A generic hotel experience, with a couple of good restaurants. I enjoyed Pad Thai noodles, which can be ordered at your beach chair from Mio, and the New Zealand lamb at the Vela restaurant. Interesting mix of dance and soul music at the beach, but it deadens your senses after a while. All the staff were very friendly. The only complaint I have is that the air conditioning is too loud, and makes a churning sound when turning on, interrupting your sleep.

1/11/25 The most amazing place I’ve ever been to. You keep a tab on your card and can charge your room, which is convenient.Jan is breezy and not that much sun but we got to see whales! Bring cash to tip. They have a kid side and adult side which is nice. The room was roomy and clean. Staff is nice! I would come back.4 days isn’t enough! -MM

Great views, poor service. DO NOT GO HERE. I've been going to Cabo since 95 and this may be the worse service I've ever received. First, this place is severely over priced, 18 dollars for a Venti Starbucks, 6 dollars in the US. Secondly, the pool is awful, people place their towels early in the morning even though they don't plan on attending. I walked around yesterday and no spots available, even though a third of the people weren't in the pool. Thirdly, service is very poor, tried to eat at one of the restaurants, visibly two thirds empty, I was told I needed to wait an hour an a half. Finally, asked the bell service for a recommendation on taxi vs Uber, told to take taxi, Uber wad two-thirds less, wow. Try Zoetry, smaller but better.

We recently hosted our wedding at the Hilton Los Cabos, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish! We chose the Hilton for our room block and wedding venue, and we couldn’t have been happier with our decision. Our ceremony took place on the stunning Mio Beach, with the ocean and rocks as our backdrop, creating a breathtaking setting. Afterward, we moved to the Whale Watching Terrace for cocktail hour and the reception, where we enjoyed panoramic views of the beach and ocean. The space was perfect for mingling and dancing under the string lights and stars. A huge thank you to Fernanda from Hilton Los Cabos, who was instrumental in orchestrating the planning and execution of our day. She went above and beyond, always available for video calls to answer any questions and reassured us as our wedding day approached. Thanks to Fernanda, we felt confident of what to expect at each milestone leading up to our day. Aline and Ambar, from HLC Weddings/Sales, were also helpful in any logistical questions as we planned and executed the day. This was invaluable to us as a destination wedding couple from out of the country. We had our onsite visit four months before the wedding (and ironically after we’d booked the venue), which was an incredibly helpful experience. During the visit, we were able to have our menu tasting: we tasted appetizers, meals, drinks, and desserts, and visited each venue where our events would be held. We were able to meet the chefs behind the magic as they presented each course. This gave us peace of mind and reassured us that we had made the right choice for our destination wedding for not only us, but our guests as well. Additionally, our guests were thrilled with their oceanview rooms, which made their stay extra special. The Hilton also assisted us by having the bellman hand-deliver our welcome boxes to all of our onsite wedding guests after check in—a thoughtful touch that was a big hit with everyone. With the fantastic coordination of Fernanda and our amazing wedding planner Illeana from Romantic Cabo Weddings, we were able to get so much done during our onsite visit, and everything fell into place seamlessly. If you do not have a wedding planner, i HIGHLY recommend Illeana and her team. We couldn’t have made a better decision than securing Illeana for not only our day but entire 10 month planning process. The Hilton Los Cabos truly made our wedding day perfect, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate. We will be back to celebrate our one year anniversary in 2025 and I’m counting down the days. Highly recommend!
