Weekend visit from Zurich in April 25
Great view and hospitality but disappointing rooms and food. The restaurant service was good but the hotel nickel and dimes guests (charging 40 dollars to charge Tesla etc) Rooms have an old world charm but get extremely warm and did not have air conditioning. The fans we finally got were broken and ran like they were from the 1990’s. Room furniture is very dated. The hotel is also not that central. We live in Zurich and came in for a night. Would not stay here again.

Wonderful hotel
What a lovely hotel, granted we were there in March which is a less busy season- but it had a relaxed yet refined atmosphere. All the staff we encountered were gracious, interested in being of assistance, and respectful. Our room was upgraded upon arrival as they had availability so we had a direct view of the lake and a large room. We also had breakfast and dinner within the hotel and the food was excellent. As an extra perk their bar made a wonderful aperol spritz.

Amazing hotel. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything that we needed. The room was amazing, it even had a live orchid plant. The breakfast that was included had a selection that exceeded our expectations. I hope to return one day!

Exceptional - Perfect Blend of Business/Conference Venue and Special Location!
What a special hotel! The staff here are exceptionally professional, welcoming, attentive, and provide excellent service. Their conference/meeting facilities are great and the event planning team is great to work with - detail oriented, solution oriented, and kind as well! The food too was delicious and you simply cannot beat the incredible view of the lake and location (short 5-10 minute walk) to the center of town. You'll leave wanting to return for sure.

I had the most amazing stay at the Hotel Splendide Royal in Lugano! From the moment I walked in, I felt so welcomed—the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. My room was gorgeous, with the most stunning view of the lake, which I could’ve stared at for hours. The food was just fantastic, especially the dinner at their restaurant—it’s clear a lot of thought goes into every detail. Everything about my stay felt so special and memorable. I can’t wait to come back!
