This was my second time and as usual was wonderful 🤩 I received again a free upgrade in a spacious room with a lake view and a balcony, and a beautiful bathroom with a bathtub. The breakfast was top and the service very professional and friendly. A special thanks to Denise -the front office supervisor, who was so kind, helpful and positive the whole time! 🫶 Definitely I will come back ☺️

We had an amazing stay with an incredible service! Thank you very much Fabian and Carina for the warm welcome and the beautiful room (with little touch). We absolutely loved it! We also had a wonderful dinner at the brasserie MOzern. A truly memorable stay with Mandarin Oriental in Luzern!

My stay at the Mandarin Oriental in Lucerne has been unbeatable. The hotel's location is perfect, the service is exemplary, and the breakfast was excellent. I would like to make a special mention of Philippe, who made our breakfast experience unforgettable.

Excellent hotel. Breakfast was great. Housekeeping was perfect. The front desk was always helpful. The view from the water facing rooms is spectacular, and we had a terrace where it was wonderful to sit outside and enjoy a drink, even in the cold weather. The room was quiet and unlike other Swiss 5 star hotels, you could cool the room below 20C if you prefer cooler temperature for sleeping. They arranged an honest taxi to take us to the train station at a very fair price. The only issue is the excessive complexity of the light and other systems. At one point, the control panel wasn't working and we had to tap it repeatedly to change the temperature. Another time it was difficult to turn off all the lights, some kept going on and off. Eventually it worked. These are minor details.

We stayed here two nights as part of a tour. Many of our group got the lake view while we got the parking lot/street. The rooms were well appointed, good space, and updated. We did find all the electronic switches confusing and no instructions. Only one restaurant was open and the food and generally the service was very good. A great place to have a drink and look out on the lake. Not cheap by any means, and it is located a ways off from the downtown area, where you walk 20 minutes or take a bus. The breakfast was very good, a great selection of items and you can order off a menu.
