Very nice hotel located in the old part of the city. Access by car requires taxis with permission to enter the old city through narrow, cobblestone roads; entrance to the premises is through a small walkway. Arrival was late that may have affected my check-in experience. I was assigned a wrong room twice and one of the rooms was occupied. Turning on the lights was challenging to this visitor as it required a unique way to insert the room card (narrow slit). I asked the front staff to help and he could not turn them on either and we had to call an engineer to help - and who rolled his eyes when he showed us how it was done. I would have said something but it was 11:00 pm; I was hungry and tired and just wanted to get to bed. Assigned room was large, very nicely laid out with period furniture and was adorned with many amenities - 2 TVs, fridge, coffee making, walk-in closet, separate bathroom and toilet etc. Bedroom and sitting room were very comfortable, and had ample electrical outlets; climate control was responsive and wifi signal was robust and reliable. Large bathroom had 2 sinks and walk-in shower that provided great water pressure; however, temperature of the water fluctuated periodically that may washing uncomfortable. Interior decor of the hotel was quaint - it kept many of the old structures and design that made it unique and interesting; I liked it. Breakfast offerings was varied and of good quality - but there are many dining options adjacent to the premises. Its location is a great feature.

We had fantastic weekend in Lyon the hotel was fantastic base, well located to visit different parts of the city. Our room was well appointed and designed, with a really warm feeling. We ate in the Hotel restaurant, which offers a fine dining tasting menu. My wife is vegan so we booked ahead and checked that they would cater for her. We expected a more simple dinner for her. The kitchen, however, devised a full vegan tasting menu each course complimenting the the regular meat/ Fish menu that I had. This made our dinner really special and memorable. The hotel bar is cosy, a lovely environment to relax in. The restaurant and bar staff were great. Very friendly and attentive. Making you feel welcome. Great food l, great cocktail making. We were a bit nervous about booking a hotel owned by a large chain as we normally go independent, this hotel maintains its unique charm we would stay again.

Such a beautiful hotel and the staff were absolutely fantastic, nothing was too much trouble for them. We didn’t have dinner in the hotel but we did have breakfast every day which was delicious with plenty of options and lots of organic options. A wonderful stay 😊

We absolutely loved our stay at the Cour de Loges. From the moment we arrived the staff were amazing. From the reception staff at check-in to Tanya the fantastic bartender who made delicious cocktails to Cecile in hotel restaurant Le Comptoir all the staff were warm, welcoming, friendly and very professional which made our stay exceptional. The room was very comfortable, clean and super quiet and we loved it. There was a stocked mini bar as well as complimentary water and tea and coffee making facilities. The only downside in the room is that there were not enough hooks in the room to hang coats and towels. Only 2 small hooks in the bathroom so this could be improved. The cocktail bar was very relaxing and the cocktails absolutely delicious. We at Le Comptoir restaurant at the hotel and the food was fantastic as was the service and very reasonably priced for a 5 star hotel. The breakfast selection was fantastic. Without one of the best breakfasts at any 5* hotel we have stayed at in Europe! Dog friendly and valet parking available at very reasonable cost. The spa at the hotel was adequate with a nice pool and hammam and sauna- but our experience was spoiled by 2 kids diving and jumping into the pool and screaming and running around. It might be worthwhile making the spa adults only after 5pm so guests can relax in peace! The spa was unattended by staff and there were alot of used towels lying around and the floor was incredibly slippery in slippers and I almost fell over twice so be careful. But despite these small issues we can't recommend this hotel enough. It was a fantastic place to stay, close to the shops, bars and cafés. We will definitely stay here again as we often travel to the south of France.

We were a group of 6 friends that had the tasting menu, each course explained in detail and matched with wonderful wines. Cour des Loges sits in a calm and elegant setting. The dining room is in the centre of an old market space, with its features highlighted by soft lighting . It is a very special venue, with passionate staff and a menu which delivers the best of French produce. We had the pleasure of meeting Joseph Doverman, a modest and gifted chef.
