Gran Melia Fenix

Excellent Hotel with top quality service we really loved our stay at the Fenix. Yane was a great host at the breakfast terrace! We will definitely return to the hotel. The overall ambience is very good and excellent Hotel for families. It is also very well located and all the staff were extremely helpful.

Hotel is amazing, the breakfast in Red Level was amazing along with awesome service! Yane was great and very attentive making sure our experience was even better! The hotel is immaculate and very well kept! We travel a lot and try our best yo always stick with the Melia brand because of their amazing hotels worldwide.

My favorite hotel. Without exception the excellent staff is welcoming, attentive and ready to help. The 'feel' of the place is superb - all employees from doormen to reception to restaurants and housekeeping exhibit pride and clearly put the guest experience above all else. Great facilities and always a fantastic experience. Special thanks to Sylvia, Carmen, Paula, Israel, Yane and really just everyone! I add days to my business trips just to stay here.

The best hotel in location, pricing, and staff. You cannot go wrong on the Red Level experience. The staff at every level was fantastic, the hotel is par to none, the location is central for shopping and to get to anywhere in Madrid that you should see.

The Gran Meliá Fénix is a magnificent hotel in a central area of Madrid. Good facilities, a great cocktail bar, and an extremely kind and efficient service (a very special mention to their PR, Carmen Serrano!), but... Some rooms on the side facing Plaza de Colón suffer from the unbearable thumping noise of a nightclub bar on the ground floor, apparently unrelated to the hotel. Leading in nighttime noise. It seems to be operational until 2:00 am on weekdays, so imagine what it must be like on holidays!. If Meliá Fénix wants to maintain its status as Grand and Leading, they must put an end to this situation. On our next visit to the hotel, we will verify this point as a **sine qua non** condition for our stay. It is unacceptable to pay the high rate of this hotel and not be able to sleep until the early hours of the morning. Thanks again to Carmen and her team. They smoothed an unacceptable situation.
