Hotel Hospes Puerta de Alcala

Everything about Hospes Puerta de Alcala is first class. The entire front desk staff is happy and helpful (Raquel, Juan, Fernando, Miquel, I hope I Didn't miss anyone!). Our room was beautiful and comfortable. A bottle of Cava was waiting for us in our room, and then a bottle of complimentary wine the next day! Room service (Guillermo) was quick and courteous. Breakfast was expansive and all you could ask for. The pool was a bit hidden but a delightful experience. Good location. Excellent hotel stay!

Front desk very professional, helpful & friendly (Ilia, Rachel & others). Location is unbelievable. Housekeeping was good & helpful. Room was big, clean & comfortable. “Hospes” is a nice hotel group. Have stayed in several of their hotels Porto, Alicante & Madrid & felt like at home, Thanks

My husband and I had a wonderful time at Hospes Puerta de Alcalá during out stay in Madrid. The staff couldn't have been more helpful or welcoming! They took note of my note of our specific preferences and ensured they were accommodated during our stay. They also helped with dinner reservations in the weeks leading up to the trip. The hotel room was beautiful. We walked to many of the city's attractions directly from the hotel and also loved its proximity to Parque de El Retiro.

My entire family (10 of us, 5 rooms) celebrated the holidays in Madrid at the Hotel Hospes Puerta de Alcala and have nothing but great things to report! From the moment we stepped foot into the lobby, Ilia and David greeted us with a big smile and answered ALL of our questions. He worked seamlessly to get us checked in early (our flight arrived at 9am from NYC to Madrid!) and gave us 2 rooms right as we arrived and within a couple hours, all rooms were available for our access - amazing! The rooms are gorgeous and all a bit different - very pre-war and clean (which I care deeply about). The location is central and very convenient - we could walk everywhere, take the bus right outside the hotel or catch a cab at the taxi stand next to the hotel. Ilia and David were super fabulous and attentive to our every need as far as maps of great places to see and eat - no matter how many questions we had, Ilia handled it all with grace and enthusiasm! Love Ilia and can't say enough wonderful things - he is truly focused on ensuring guests enjoy every moment of their stay in Madrid! With such a big group of 10 people, many things could've gone wrong but everything was smooth and perfect - - Ilia and David truly understand how to make their guests feel warmly welcome. Perfect location, excellent hospitality, best massage, fabulous employees to include ilia and Raquel, and all the employees at breakfast! Very nice rooms with a nice view the Puerto de Alcalá! Everyone went out of their way to make our stay fabulous! We will be staying here again!
