Mandarin Oriental Ritz, Madrid

Just back from a night at the Ritz! It is truly luxurious, but its outstanding element is its service. Literally everyone here couldn't be more helpful. And...because it was my birthday, they lavished me with cakes and cava and ornaments in the rooms. Wonderfully comfortable bed; sumptuous buffet breakfast; and my compliments to Alejandro Alegre at the Front Desk...so gracious and helpful. Brava!

We had an amazing stay at MO Madrid! From the warm welcome by Mr. Lowe, Rebeca, and the reception team to the thoughtful “MO Wow” surprise for my son (a Real Madrid fan), every moment was truly special and heartwarming. The housekeeping and concierge teams were exceptional, with Zoubida and Borja standing out for their dedication and professionalism. The spa and front desk staff also demonstrated an outstanding level of care and expertise. Thank you for your exceptional hospitality and service you made our stay truly unforgettable!

I had very high expectations about this stay, and they were exceeded in every way. The service, the accommodations, the public spaces, and the food were all outstanding. Each employee we came in contact with, from the front desk to the doormen to the wait staff to the hotel manager made us feel valued and important. Even while there was a VIP delegation in-house during our stay, with high security, we were treated just as well as they were. On our last day there was a water leak in our room that necessitated our moving to another room. The manager and staff handled this quickly and efficiently and tried to make it up to us (which really wasn't necessary.) But their concern for our happiness was impressive. We shall return.

This is an absolutely glorious hotel. From the moment you enter the front door you are wowed with the elegance. A glittering contemporary chandelier hangs above the round foyer, and the glass enclosed rotunda lies beyond. Food is superb, the elegant bar off the lobby has an incredible collection of fine art. Bartenders are attentive as was every other hotel employee we encountered. Rooms are sumptuous and quiet, and the linens are top quality. The spa is top shelf as well with amazingly attentive staff. Don’t miss the pool with three enormous crystal chandeliers. And steps to the Prada. What else do you want?
