Awesome, once more
Once again in Madrid for a business trip, and once again at this hotel. The location is extremely convenient for me, but over all, the staff working at the hotel, all of them, are extremely professional while treating you warmly, which makes me feel at home there.

Excellent hotel, great location
Really lovely hotel. Location was great to get around the city. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our rooms were ready earlier than normal check in and we were able to leave our bags at the hotel on check out as our flight wasn’t until late evening. Rooms were really nice, bed was very comfortable and everyone spotlessly clean. We had a desk in the room to work at if needed (I note another reviewer said there was no desk). Breakfast we great, plenty of choice off the menu or on buffet. Couldn’t fault the hotel at all. We stayed 2 night, definitely would stay in again next time we go to Madrid 😊

Beautiful!
Absolutely spectacular! The location is ideal. The staff is incredibly helpful (dinner reservations) and friendly. Lastly, the palacio itself is stunning! I would go back again tomorrow.

Book carefully fellow travellers!
Be careful making a booking at this hotel. While it seems you are booking directly (as I went through the hotel website), you are booking through an intermediary. Be sure to closely check what you are booking - many rates say they are cancellable within a reasonable timeframe. I made a booking that I thought was cancellable till close to the date - however I then received a booking confirmation that said that my room was not cancellable without paying a cancellation fee that was higher than my actual room fee; that they had immediately charged my credit card the full amount of the stay PLUS US$215 taxes and service fees that were not clear on my room rate - this was a full month before I was due to arrive at the hotel. When I complained to the hotel they said speak to the booking service. When I spoke to the booking service they said it was already in the system and nothing they could do. I feel this is pretty poor form. Buyer beware.

Not value for money
Went for business. Long wait for room, no desk to work at in the room and very poor breakfast variety. Nice location though but way way over priced for what I got.
