We made our first visit to Spain as a family. Salma and Jose at the front desk were Very helpful-ensuring we got adjoining rooms. The breakfast on rhe 7th floor was the best hotel breakfast we ever had; all the food was fresh. The hotel decor is modern and bright. Having a gym to work out in was a bonus.

Catalin was friendly and extraordinarily helpful in advising travel and tourist destinations. The room was very comfortable and modern. The staff were very friendly. The hotel is central to all attractions most of which you can walk. I highly recommend.

Amazing experience with incredible staff. Room was cozy and quiet, the location was excellent, and the breakfast was lovely! Would 100% recommend and will stay again! Location was nearby and walking distance to the park which was great to take a stroll down.

Keren and the staff at SepTimo took such good care of us and made us feel very welcome in Madrid. We love Only You Hotel Atocha and our experience tonight made this second visit even better than the first. The food and attention to detail are worth a trip every time.

I mean it is defiantly a wonderful hotel. Great location and our room was amazing. As we were staying a few days we had stretched to a Junior Suite and really welcomed the extra space (and view out over to the station). Massive bed, plenty of storage etc, everything needed - including the vital kettle for a cup of tea! Admittedly, there is a lot of construction work going on outside i.e. road layout etc - but it never troubled us and, TBH, was something quite interesting to look at from the bar on the 7th floor. There was a warm welcome at reception and a bustling ground floor area (with cafe, small restaurant - and a barbers!). Seemed to be used by a lot of locals as well i.e. not just guests. Lots of nice touches e.g. the jars of sweets in reception. Loved the welcome drink - plus a further voucher for the upstairs bar. For a reason still unknown to us - we returned to our room one evening and found a fresh meats/cheese platter and bottle of cava! Wow! How wonderful. (Not sure if this was because the main restaurant was closed for a couple of days - but a lovely touch). Again, location is great - either for walking up to, for example, the Prado, into the Retiro (amazing park) or jumping on a metro/train/bus at Atocha. (Despite being hardened travellers - we did find Atocha station a bit of a nightmare to grapple with. The metro we cracked - but the suburban railway foxed us.) I suppose the only, small, negative point holding back from giving an Excellent rating was the breakfast. A great selection but I just found it quite stressful (and not what I needed at that time in the morning). The space is too small and the tables incredibly close together. Just not pleasant to feel people brushing past you. Equally, on Day 1, would have been nice if someone had explained ‘the ropes’ to us e.g. hot water over there, fruit over there etc etc. Just felt was left floundering. Ok, #FirstWorldProblem. But it just took off the edge. Maybe I am just too grumpy in the morning! (As a top tip, there are a couple of round tables overlooking the inner-court we found the best i.e. out of any walkways etc). The bar on the 7th floor offers an excellent view - as well as some lovely wine. (Music was a bit loud though). But, all in all - and despite my niggles - an excellent hotel. Great room. We loved the knock on the door and we were handed packets of dried cranberries.
