Bravo Melia!

I had an lovely stay at this stunning hotel right in the heart of Madrid! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the dominating artwork. The bedroom and bathroom were top notch and the bed super comfy. The breakfast buffet was delicious and the live music was a nice touch! But what really made this stay stand out was the exceptional service. A massive thank you to Jose for going above and beyond to make my time there truly special. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a memorable stay in Madrid! I will return.

Fabulous hotel with exceptional staff.

We had a fabulous few days here, the hotel decor was great, the room was spacious and the bed was huge and extremely comfortable . Everywhere was immaculate. There was a bath and a shower in the large bathroom , which perfectly suits my husband and I as he likes baths and I like showers. The breakfasts were delicious , and very relaxing with a guitarist playing live on Saturday and Sunday. The hotel is in a quiet road but very central ,so walking and getting the Metro or train was easy. The feather in the cap of this hotel is the staff - they were exceptional , every single one was helpful, friendly , polite, and couldn't do enough for us. Everything was done with a smile, they were all charming, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommend.

One of the best 5* experiences we ever had.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

Functional and well located for central Mardrid. Clean, beautifully decorated. Great room size. Most importantly, fantastic attitude from staff, especially Jose Gutierrez, concierge at Red level. He solved every issue we had and went beyond the highest expectations. Always booking tickets, rather than just leaving it to us. Truly above and beyond! Red level was much better and far more valuable than Club floors in other hotels we frequented. Outstanding full breakfast with super service by Charlene. The rest of the day, very tasty tapas and drinks in a lovely environment. We wish the weather was better as the private garden would have made the Red level even more attractive. We were particularly lucky to be offered the use of the hotel’s Audi Q8 for a day and some opera tickets….a real treat!

Super staff and great room

Great location near the Royal Palace and Opera house. Large courtyard garden at the rear. Our room was spacious with bath and walk in rain shower and nicely furnished. Excellent friendly staff and great buffet breakfast. Bar drinks reasonably priced for a 5 * hotel. Overall a great stay.

Gran Melia Madrid for the Win!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

I travel extensively but rarely do I have an experience as extraordinary as the experience here. That experience began with the people. Each and every member of the staff went out of their way to ensure every aspect of my stay was perfection. Though I hesitate to single one person out because everyone was sensational, Jose, the red level concierge was extraordinary. He went so far above and beyond what would have been superior service expressing genuine sincere concern in providing the assistance and information I needed. Hats off to management for selecting their staff and training them. I was new to Gran Meliá, will stay nowhere else when visiting Madrid, and look forward to my next visit. By the way, I have never written a review before. The Gran Melia deserves the praise.
