Simply perfect
The service was amazing. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Madrid. The breakfast was fantastic… one of the best I’ve had in my life. The New Year’s Eve dinner was also perfect. Me and my family had the best time thanks to the incredible experience at The Principal. The bluetooth connectivity in the room was a definite plus. The location is also great, since it’s in a street that isn’t as crowded as in Sol.

INCREDIBLE Hotel, Staff & location.
Gorgeous hotel and just what we needed!! Returned from A trip to the Canary Islands and decided to stay in Madrid before flying home. This Hotel is the perfect end to a vacation:)) Doting staff, kindest front door gentleman and restaurant staff. We will definitely be back!!

Loved our stay at the Principal Madrid hotel
We stayed three nights at the Principal Hotel. My wife and I are not rich but we care about a clean bed and I guess we are a little picky when it comes to where we stay. The hotel room was very clean and very well put together. Loved the bathroom and the bed was very comfortable. We hit a room with a balcony. Door man was very helpful, always looking out for us with the weather. If I had to say a negative it is really just one thing but it seems to be common in Spain, and that is not having an iron or steamer for our clothes in the room. But like I said we are finding out that is common at many hotels in Spain. This was our first European hotel (we are from the US) and it was a great experience and I highly recommend staying at the Principal.

Nice hotel with good location near the Prado and restaurants
Wonderful hotel! Small, nicely decorated, clean. Wonderful location on the Grand Via. You can walk to the Prado and good restaurants nearby. My husband and I were there for a friend's anniversary party. It just so happens we could walk to it as well. The staff were wonderful! I will stay there again because I go to Madrid often.

The whole stay was superbe
Top position behind the "Gran Via", walk 1-2 minutes and you have all stores, rooftop's nightlife an more, also for the nicest buildings from Madrid. The reception is top of the top, friendly and help you for any question with always a smile in the face. The room are super clean and all gadget's has a normal function. Breakfast: one of the best service that I recived in Madrid For our rent car has the hotel a space free for a small amount. Finally we can say, go there and enjoy the City of Madrid.
