We were given a very warm welcome by Margaret, Shirley & Muhammed, which included some cool juice & refreshing towelettes. Margaret told us all about the property's layout, the cards to use for collecting beach towels, the various venues for meals & beverages & advised us to leave our valuables in the room when roaming the beach. We were driven to our room & our luggage was transported too, by cute buggys that were expertly manoeuvred along the narrow, winding pathways by hotel drivers. Our suite was spacious with a wonderful view of the beach, pool & manicured gardens of the resort. We were treated with a fresh, fruit platter & ice bucket with champagne & were touched by the detail of delicate, colourful flowers festooning the bed. Whenever we needed the buggy service, a quick call to the front desk summoned it straightaway. All the staff were polite, helpful & smiled pleasantly. The main restaurant, The Grand Savoy, had copious dishes & ample staff to serve. We particularly enjoyed the attractive, miniature desserts because there were so many different ones & the taster sizes meant we were able to sample several at a time. We were pleasantly surprised not to encounter any mosquitoes but instead enjoyed the breakfast accompaniment of beautiful little scarlet red birds, yellow & black ones, as well as brown birds whose feathers created a scale-like pattern. Being a business trip, our stay there was quite short, but definitely sweet, so we wouldn't hesitate to return & hopefully experience the inviting spa next time.

Location is excellent of the property. Very clean, humble staff. It is a huge property. Around 8 kms from Victoria. Right on the beach with 3 restaurants. Even the hill view rooms are clean and spacious. Being a 5 star, expenses are bit on the higher side but that is expected. Only one point here that for Indians they should expand the menu a bit. In breakfast there are options like rice, lentils, curries. Instead if there are other options it would be excellent.
