Kempinski Hotel Bahia Estepona

My husband and I do not usually stay anywhere more than once, but we have just spent our fourth stay at The Kempinski, Estepona - and this certainly will not be our last! The hotel is immaculate, the rooms are beautifully decorated and there is an attention to detail which shows the care taken of guests. The staff, many of whom we have known since our first holiday there, are most friendly and helpful and there is a feeling of meeting up with old friends. The restaurants are first rate and the position of the hotel, right on the seafront, could not be better. It is a delight to know that, whenever we return, we can count on an excellent stay.

Terrible service and communication between spa staff. The hotel is closing down so clearly isn't being operated well. Id be mindful of booking here until it is understood what is happening. Not a pleasant experience unfortunately. Look elsewhere!

Superb breakfast, helpful team. Complimentary upgraded our room to the better one, received nice surprise for Birthday from Hotel’s team. Only thing what can be improved is entrance into the SPA and environment in it. But overall it is very good place to spend your Holliday’s.

The location was good. Many of the hotels restaurants and the major pool were closed so our options were limited. One outdoor pool was functioning, however no service !. The SPA pool needs un update . The room was fine however the beds were quite hard. We stayed for 4 nights , the variation of food in breakfast was limited. Everything else was ok. The hotel felt more like 4 start rather that 5 star and definitely inferior to our plast experiences at other Kempinski hotels

We spent a week at the hotel, including New Year's Eve. This hotel has one of the best staffs in the world. The service from check in through check out was fantastic. We had booked a suite with a balcony that turned out to be huge (including a hot tub). We brought two small dogs and they were treated very well by the staff. The room service food was the best we had in years. Like you were eating in their restaurant, not some afterthought that shows up lukewarm in your room and has a 25% surcharge. Breakfast is great as well. The location right at the beach is perfect. Highly recommended.
