Discovery Shores Boracay

We absolutely love Discovery Boracay. More than the gorgeous, spacious rooms, modern amenities and delicious food in their restos, it’s the service that truly sets them apart. The people like Marianne, Jigs, Jenil, Abby and so many others, deliver service that feels sincere, warm and empathetic. We love the beachfront where you can relax and enjoy the awesome view of the water and sunsets that never disappoint. Whether at the pool or beachside, there will be someone checking on how you’re doing and offering hor d’oeuvres, cold water, cucumbers for your eyes and orange slices for your cheeks. Ordinarily it might be a bit much, but we appreciate the thoughtfulness behind all these. The only thing lacking, I feel, is a vehicle for tipping everyone, because everyone in the staff deserves extra for delivering extra. 🙂 We will be back!

My partner and I had the most incredible stay at Discovery Boracay from April 16-20, 2025. From the moment we stepped onto the property, we were welcomed with open arms, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The location is perfect—nestled right on the island, with easy access to Stations 1-3 thanks to their convenient shuttle service. It’s honestly the best spot to be. Once we entered our room, Andy was there to assist us, and we were immediately WOWed by all the Wow Factors—not just things we saw, but things we felt. The attention to detail was extraordinary. From the thoughtful snacks to the little touches that made the room feel so warm and welcoming, it was clear that Discovery Boracay goes above and beyond to create a truly special experience. The breakfast buffet was a daily treat, with an array of delicious options that satisfied every craving. We were also so touched by the nightly turn-down service—it wasn’t just about fixing the bed; it was the little things like the thoughtful snacks and that warm "goodnight" vibe that made our evenings so special. The beach beds were super comfy, but what really made our experience unforgettable were the incredible beach butlers—Gen, Jenil, and Jigs. These three went above and beyond, offering service with so much care, attention, and warmth. They truly made us feel like family, and we’ll always remember their kindness. Everyone at Discovery Boracay—from the housekeeping staff to the front desk team—shows such heart in everything they do. You can see it in their smiles, in their genuine hospitality, and in how they go out of their way to make your stay unforgettable. Their service isn't just professional; it's personal. Without a doubt, this is the best service we've experienced on the island. If you’re looking for a place where you can truly unwind and feel cared for, this is it. We’ll definitely be back! From their online reservation until we were at our departure port in Caticlan, everything was BEYOND EXCELLENT. Prior our stay here at Discovery Boracay, we had our 2 nights at Shangri-La Boracay(good service too) and 2 nights at Crimson Boracay(worst experience ever!). An award-winning and great hotel experience starts with a smooth reservation process, and not just upon arriving at the hotel. Their staff immediately contacted me thru email regarding my room reservation and gave info about the room location(10-min walk from the beach) and bed configuration. I have my senior and pwd parents with me, plus a months old baby, and this info is significant to us. They also provided a resort map to set expectations. Bravo!! DB doesnt have their own Welcome Lounge at Caticlan port (like Crimson or Shang) but they made sure guests are comfortable and pampered upon arrival and departure. They gave cold water and snacks during our departure.** I would like to mention here that Crimson have their own lounge but it was hell- there's power outage but no back up generator, no fans, no lights at restrooms, no cold drinks, no coffee, no snacks, nothing! And this is what we paid for at Crimson. Power outage at the island was announced ahead of time to prepare.** Upon arrival at DB, it was very very hot but their staff Sean welcomed us with a great smile, like its winter out there! haha! informed our room wasnt yet avaible but guided us to the beach front resto to chill. Arriving at the beach front resto, malayo pa lang- Sir Jomar greeted us with a big smile and sincere welcome! He made a small talk/ kumustahan and gave my baby some chilled ripe mangoes while waiting for our room. Sir Jomar was also in charge of the seafood boodle lunch, a surprise for my mother. Everything was perfect! Upon entering our room, I must say that it was not as modern and stylish as other luxury hotels in Boracay. But then their ATTENTION TO DETAIL made the whole stay worth what we paid for. They provided a crib and tub for my baby. They even provided a bottle sterilizer! Amazing! On our second night, their housekeeping team also surprised my mom with a tippy tent, decor, greetings, and a projector with a greeting! We were so touched by this gesture. It wasnt necessary but they did it anyway! What made our stay with DB more meaningful and unforgettable was their staff. 3 weeks after our stay, I could still remember their names because they really made an impact. I would like to commend Sir Jomar from the dining area for his service and hospitality. Also to Ms. Marianne from the dining area. These 2 are well- trained, have genuine care and very attentivene to our needs. And this is how we define luxury. Exceeded our expectations! Its not just the amenities and the resort that makes Discovery Boracay. All their staff makes them award-winning. It took me 3 weeks before I write this review and indeed, 3 weeks after our stay, I can honestly say its the best experience, hospitality and service we've ever had in Boracay. Unforgettable.

Wonderful service from Marianne at the Sands Resto 5/5 The room attendants, Mich, Clinton add Sander were magnificent! 5/5. Our room was well maintained & spotless. Breakfast especially the bacon *chef's kiss* Everything was absolutely amazing. Will come back soon!
