Cheval Blanc Randheli

This was our second stay at Cheval Blanc and it did not disappoint (well, except for below). The Male airport is new and Cheval Blanc has a new lounge. The Cheval Blanc staff makes arriving and departing at the airport painless, which is very much appreciated. We stayed in the same villa, 46, which is beautiful. Our Butler Mr. G was the best. It was our anniversary and he went all out decorating our room. It was so special. He made everyday spectacular for us. Cheval Blanc, in general, leaves nothing to want. The villa has everything you need and more. They do not skimp on the amenities they provide in the room. Everything is top notch. You do not feel ripped off. For example, they don't charge for endless amounts of chocolates and snacks, which plenty of their competitors have no problem doing. The food is good. I wouldn't say amazing. I remember it being better. We ate mostly at Deelani, the Italian restaurant. The pasta was definitely better the last time. We ate once at the White and once at Diptyque both were fine. One word of caution, which put a damper on 2 1/2 out of the five days of my trip... On a snorkeling trip, they neglected to warn us that there is plankton (sea lice) in the water. Had we known this we would have bought a long sleeve swim shirt that would have helped me from getting bites all over my body which resulted in a extremely itchy skin irritation causing red bumps all over my arms and legs. Although I complained to the guide when I felt the bites in the water and she told me that if I wanted to I should go back to the boat, once on the boat, no one ever told me to rinse off. So, as a result, I spent the next few days itching and applying ointment and calamine lotion to my body. A nice way to spend a very expensive vacation. Then to add insult to injury, during our dinner at Deelani, I was visited by the resort manager that tried to insult my intelligence by questioning whether this was actually caused by a food allergy, and not by the plankton. Needless to say, I do not have food allergies, I felt 1000 bites in the water and he ruined my dinner.

We just returned from an amazing 7-night stay. Everything about this property is perfection. The food was even better than the Cheval Blanc Paris. In particular the Breakfast pastries each morning were the best I have ever had. If you think the Cheval Blanc Paris has a great Breakfast wait until you try Randheli. Each day they were better than the next. We also enjoyed 1947 which we thought was as good if not better than Plenitude in Paris. This feat is even more remarkable when you consider where you are in the World. Everything about this resort is special. From the moment you arrive until the moment you leave it is perfection. All of the staff we encountered were amazing. The spa was exceptional. It is an exceptionally well-run property. Every detail is thoughtfully curated for a perfect stay. The Villas are amazing. A spectacular world class experience.

We are so sad to have just left this magical paradise! Truly everything was a 10/10! From the delicious food, to the amazing staff, activities and of course the beauty of the islands! The room - was by far the best that I have ever stayed in - the pool was unbelievable and the views next level! The staff - everyone from Laurent the manager, to Silvia in marketing, our Majordome Saajiu, the yoga instructor, Aman who set up such a special private dinner for us, Sammy at White Bar and so many others made the experience so magical! The experiences - everything was superb but don’t miss the sunset cruise, scuba diving, private dinner and movie night (or jungle movie night) and spa island!!! Thank you so much for such an amazing stay! We are already planning to come back for our anniversary!

Now, let’s talk about a place that can only be described as “paradise on earth,” a place like no other, Cheval Blanc Randheli. As many others have mentioned, it offers a wide variety of facilities that are luxurious and highly professional. There are plenty of fun activities, and if you see the beautiful harmony between the lush forest and the softly glowing turquoise sea, you will be left speechless. Of course, the diverse and high-quality amenities, delicious food, and stunning natural scenery make it a perfect resort. However, what truly makes Cheval Blanc Randheli a paradise on earth is one more key element. All the staff always had smiles on their faces and were extremely kind. Among them, a few exceptional staff members stood out. I would like to give special thanks and praise to these staff members: • Riyaz Riyaz was always there to kindly assist us in every situation. The activities recommended by Riyaz were all fantastic, and he provided us with a perfectly customized schedule, offering immense help. He went above and beyond to assist us until the very moment we boarded the seaplane, leaving everyone deeply impressed by his exceptional service. If I could visit again, I would love to meet him once more. Riyaz alone has made me want to return to the Maldives. Truly the best staff member. • Shaarif Shaarif taught us water sports. He instructed us in sea bob and the surf simulator. Despite never having surfed before, he got me riding the waves within 30 minutes. He also easily taught us how to dive and gain speed using the sea bob and how to operate the jet ski. He is an amazing teacher. • A diving center instructor This instructor provided detailed guidance on snorkeling and became an excellent guide underwater. • The male staff member at White A very thoughtful and outstanding staff member. He introduced us to Maldivian chili, which was so delicious that I kept eating it. Knowing that we were from Korea, he thoughtfully brought us some kimchi. • The waiter at Le 1947 More detailed and proper than a three-star Michelin waiter, he introduced the dishes to us with great skill. A truly exceptional waiter. I highly recommend visiting the paradise on earth, the new world of resorts, Cheval Blanc Randheli.
