Huvafen Fushi Maldives

We love this small island resort! We stayed 4 nights at ocean bungalow with pool. The resort located only 35 minutes by boat from Male international airport. Short wait at the airport. The room was very spacious, clean and organized. My husband notice the water pressure of the shower is great. There was glass floor. We could see the fishes even at night. We saw many fishes. Great for snorkeling. We had the special dinner at underwater restaurant. During dinner, we saw many fishes, sharks and rays. The food was tasty. The staff were very nice and kind. Our butler, Saif, helped us a lot. We are grateful for his service. We highly recommend to stay this little paradise!

a very impressive holiday experience in my life we tried turtle Safari, snorkeling, and sunset fishing. turtle safari: we literally got a video that a turtle just 30cm in. front of us, we even saw it hop up over the sea and took a deep breathe sunset fish: it last for about 2 hours, and the staff originally told us the chance we catch fish is 50/50, but very luckily, this sunset fish (including 6 guests) we totally got 14 fishes, red snapper, Humpack snappper, bracuda, White snapper and even grouper+2 baby sharks(babysharks we immediately released them back to sea ). snorkeling: you can got the best, clear underwater view in your life! many thanks to my bulter Summer, he treated us like a family, and he is very impatient and kind to meet any request you have or questions. also many thanks Mr. Mohammed Hamdhoon, the resort manager, he do cares your whole feelings , experience, and always keeps the high level of the resort services

We vacationed here for our honeymoon last month and this place far exceeded our wildest expectations. The way this island is designed is to make you feel like you're the only one on the island at any given time which was exactly what we were hoping to find for our honeymoon. Beautiful white sandy beaches with turquoise waters and gorgeous weather every day! The staff outnumber the visitors by a great margin so you are always well taken care of and it was quite honestly the best hospitality I've ever experienced. We had Naadi as our butler and he was AMAZING and went the extra mile to ensure we were well taken care of and our honeymoon was filled with special romantic moments. The manager introduced himself and was present often, checking in on our stay. If we could give this place more than 5 stars we would!

I travelled to Huvafen Fushi solo, in desperate need of a break from my busy Senior Executive life. I've been to Maldives before, Huvafen Fushi was recommended to me. I wanted an Overwater Pool Villa which offered absolute privacy. Huvafen Fushi offered exactly what I was looking for. I cannot stress enough how stunning the Overwater Villas are, absolute heaven! The sunsets I enjoyed watching - priceless! I loved the fact that the island is located within speed boat distance from the airport, I'm not a fan of taking sea planes. So that was a huge plus already when I decided to go with Huvafen Fushi. The island has a perfect size, not too small, not too big. I managed to get well over 10k steps in every day walking around. The island is very lush, the vegetation is lovely (compared to my previous stay at Maldives.....). I enjoyed the food at the Celcius Restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. Quality of food is excellent, big variety, fresh products. I did not explore the other restaurants as of course traveling solo, the dining experience was not my focus. I want to emphasise that the staff at Huvafen really made me feel very comfortable - there was one very sweet instance when I arrived at Celcius Restaurant and the wait staff asked where I wanted to sit, so I said I'd sit inside and leave the waterfront tables to the couples...... the lovely wait staff then said that I would count just as much as a guest as a couple and that I should sit outside. That made me smile. The Spa is wonderful! I had an excellent massage therapist, one of the best massages I have ever had! My only comment for improvement would be that the gym needs an update. The equipment is very old. Everyone was super, super friendly - it was a natural friendliness I experienced, not one that is trained to be. Special thanks to my Thakuru, Soppe. He was wonderful! I will be back for sure!

This review is really a testament to the entire staff team at the resort. They do everything in their power to make the stay comfortable and memorable, going above and beyond in almost every aspect. The bungalows are beautiful and comfortable, the food is sublime, the care taken with things is excellent, and guests needs are catered for thoughtfully and with sincere interest and kindness. I cannot recommend it highly enough. One of the nicest experiences I have ever had in my life. Combine that with the otherworldly beauty of the environment, and you never want to leave!
