Rooms - Ocean View Over the Water is definitely worth the extra money. Perfect layout, incredible sunset view and access to the reef Service - AMAZING. A special mention to Naadi (our butler) and Ahmed (who made up our room). The thoughtful nighttime pictures were extra special - see photo. Naadi was born to work in hospitality - he strikes the perfect balance between being attentive but not being overbearing. Food - me and my fiancé were just joking how much we’re missing it. Acai bowl and personalised fruit plates at breakfast were a highlight. There’s something for everyone at Celsius and Salt is actually great value for money Gym - a little dated but has everything you need and was generally very quiet. Bugs - ZERO bites (even though I’m sure regnant and am supposed to be a big magnet) Spa - I didn’t get chance to use this but it must be good as everyone on the island seemed really proud of it Reef - was a little difficult to access as I’m pregnant and the water was shallow but my fiancé had no problem. A little tip would be to include some more info and the best way to navigate the reef to get to the edge in the rooms.

This was our third time in Huvafen, so that speaks for itself ! As usual , fantastic stay with wonderful everything 😊 : villa, food, staff, pool, yoga, spa … you name it . If you’re looking for a place to recharge your batteries , for peace and quite then this island is perfect .

A Slice of Paradise – My Unforgettable Experience😍 I had the pleasure of staying at this incredible hotel in the Maldives twice last year, and I can confidently say it’s a place that truly feels like home. My first visit was so magical that I couldn’t resist coming back, and it exceeded my expectations once again. From fresh, delicious meals to cooking classes with amazing chefs, the culinary experience was unforgettable. The island’s serenity made it easy to relax, and I often felt like I had it all to myself. My personal highlights? The beautifully designed rooms and the wonderful staff, especially Nazeeh and the hotel director, who made my stay extra special. I’m a fan and will definitely be back – highly recommended!

My wife and I went to celebrate her birthday at Huvafen Fushi between 28 Dec 2024 and 4 Jan 2025! This was our 7th time in the Maldives and we think we should what to expect! For this time of the year, we unexpectedly experienced "bad weather" with prolonged raining and storm-like waves in the lagoon, thus were not able to snorkel (which we came for) for all except 3 days. Many of the fellow guests were unhappy and some left, but we do not agree that a good time could not be earned! As rather seasoned and pampered travellers, we were very grateful for the amazing services, excellent F&B especially the breakfast, the unbelievably sumptuous New Year Party (the best in the world in my opinion), and the most devoted effort and attention to finest details by the staff. The chefs in the resort are simply artists, and facts speak for themselves. Our "butler" Nellie was extremely helpful for all aspects. Our wine tasting session was thoroughly enjoyable even for wine enthusiasts, with amazing cheese pairing. The bell and transport services both inside the hotel and at Male Airport were so excellent that there was zero stress. The boat was most excellent and I love the coconut water! The upper management, especially the Deputy and the General Managers, met all guests daily to ensure all details, including birthday arrangements were made. Our snorkeling at the house reef, although partly bleached as in the entire Maldives, was very rewarding. We saw sting rays, turtles, colourful and abundance of fish. We were even able to snorkel simply by going down the stairs of our water villa to go directly to our mini reef! Our 8th time in Maldives should be at the HF again. Thanks to all the staff at HF again.
