The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands

What started as our honeymoon is now our annual wellness retreat—and it’s all because of the incredible staff. From the moment you arrive, you step into paradise, but it’s the warmth and hospitality that truly make this place special. No matter how busy the resort is, they make you feel like the only guests. What an exceptional resort! This was truly a bucket list item for me, and it did not disappoint. The resort, the staff, the food was outstanding. I have traveled to many many places all over the world and this by far has topped them all. What stands out mostly is the employees on this resort are so kind so attentive and they work so very hard. One person in particular really stands out for us that was a chef working at the La Locanda restaurant. His name is ABEER. He went out of his way to make me my favorite foods that was not even part of their regular display. Not to mention having a fantastic dessert being sent to our room. I have a strong desire to return just to receive the amazing hospitality again.

My wife and I went on our honeymoon and stayed here. It was hands down the best service that we’ve ever encountered on a vacation. The staff was warm and genuinely cared. In particular, Ford, Grace (F&B) and Rudi (Sommelier). Highly recommend!

If you happen to have Affan as your Aris Meeha, you will be an extremely lucky guest. Affan goes out of his way to make your accommodation and experience as special as they can be. He is the most professional and caring staff I have ever met. We have stayed in other ritz carlton properties such as dorado beach and his presence made our baby moon trip experience the absolute best at maldives. Jean and Sunni were both extremely caring and friendly, and never hesitated to give us helpful information. They also helped us with translations in korean. Eliza at Summer Pavilion is the friendliest staff who would take time to explain to us about every menu item and even about scuba diving. Azu at the La Locanda was always the first one to greet us in the morning and be extremely attentive and give us a friendly chat and smile. All of these staff made our baby moon trip all the more special. This is an extremely breathtaking and beautiful property and we will definitely come back in the near future.

AAA+++ This was our 2nd time in 3 yrs at the Ritz Maldives and it was absolutely incredible! There are many reasons why we came back: • ARIS MEEHA: We were blessed with Shaghaf. She was so good to us the first time around that we requested her again to care for us and for our 6 mo old baby. She never misses a beat. She’s punctual + polite + gets things done + ultra responsive + goes above and beyond + thinks/plans ahead + exceeds expectations + made our lives that much easier + and is a great photographer for all of your IG needs! She would surprise us with framed pictures just about every night along with sweets/fruits etc to make our stay even more eventful. Can’t say enough good things about her. If I were to run a hotel/resort then I’d want her on my “A” team. She’s that amazing! Thank you, Shaghaf! • RITZ KIDS CLUB: We had two fabulous babysitters (Tia and Katya) to care for our 6 month old daughter. I’ve never seen babysitters that joyful and good at their job like these two. They’re simply amazing and very genuine! They made every effort to play / sing / dance with our little one. Tbh, my wife and I were skeptical at first because we didn’t know how our baby would react. Tia and Katya really know how to care for babies and kids in general because they were so loved by other kids at the Club. When we first arrived to the Ritz ferry port, I recall seeing Tia standing there holding a Ritz Kids backpack for our baby girl. I could tell that she was kind and genuine which is exactly what we were looking for in a babysitter. Any parent should feel 100% comfortable leaving their kids behind with these professionals. • SERVICE: Fantastic! The people here are trained exceptionally well where they remember your names, how many times you’ve been here, your preferences etc etc. Even if they missed something (i.e. they forgot to bring my mimosa at breakfast), they would make up for it by going directly to our villa to bring us chocolate bars to apologize. We weren’t expecting that at all. They really go above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of at all times. • LOCATION/ACCESSIBILITY: The location was fantastic given that we only had to take a ~60 min yacht ride to the resort. I prefer taking a boat in lieu of a seaplane. The staff on the boat was very polite, helpful and hospitable. It made us very welcomed and excited to be back at Ritz. • FLEXIBILITY: Via a 10 min ferry from the Ritz, we were able to visit a few restaurants at the Patina which is part of the Fari Islands. This flexibility allowed us to enjoy even more dining options other than just the Ritz. It’s a great way to integrate both resorts and it was seamless when it came to payment. We loved this about the Ritz. We love Maldives and we love the people at Ritz! We will definitely be back again in the near future!
