Cap Vermell Grand Hotel

This place is a true 5 star hotel. The staff is very professional, unlike other 5 stars we have stayed up during our trip to Spain. Breakfast was amazing, the room was beautiful, very high tech and well equipped. The resort is also amazing. The restaurants make the entire experience top notch!

Absolutely beautiful Hotel with beautiful classic Mediterranean finishes. Quiet, comfortable and relaxing. A very unhurried environment which was just what we wanted for our Holiday. Food in all restaurants was delicious and we didn’t experience any service issues mentioned in other reviews. We wish were able to stay longer but hope to come back another time.

This room was beautiful. Every amenity I could think of and a beautiful balcony. It was a long set of stairs (over 100) to get to and from the room to anywhere on the property. The beach was a short drive away and worth it for a few hours. Voro was worth the money but took 4 hours!

Overall great but a few improvements needed! This is our second stay here, we have actually stayed for 4 weeks on this occasion after extending our 2 week stay. Service in all restaurants is excellent, pool service is average but Juan Gabriel and the young lady with the glasses (so sorry I forgot your name!!!) are great and extremely personable, such a credit to the hotel. Reception staff and bell boys are pretty helpful. Rooms are aesthetically nice however pretty tatty around the edges, housekeeping is not good a very basic clean 90% of the time failing to top up vanity kits, we opened a dental ‘kit’ to find the toothpaste had been taken. Towels and robes often not left and getting water is a nightmare. These are all extremely basic for a 5 star hotel. Breakfast service is poor!!! Wrong orders, forgotten orders, dismissive staff overall (with the exception of 2/3 who are great and we managed to sit ourselves where they were working towards the end of our stay). Pool towels are tatty and fraid, also discoloured. Overall we had a very lovely stay but there were all little things that could make a gorgeous hotel so much nicer. We found it has gone downhill since last year and from speaking to other guests it has progressively gone down hill over the years.

This is our 4th time. We have enjoyed coming back but there is just something missing! The rooms are stunning, beautifully decorated. The main pool area is lovely and breakfast is outstanding.The Spa team, especially Marina is excellent too. To me it lacks 2 things - 1. Atmosphere - It is quite remote and our kids can sometimes find themselves bored and the kids club at the Country Club is not great. It lacks some soul. 2. Front office staff - The staff are generally good though outside of the Spa we have never been welcomed back (even though we have been there 4 times). This would be a very simple thing to train and teach. The reception and front desk are poor, every year I feed back that they could improve their attitude and helpfulness and there is no change. If this resort can improve here they will get manny more guests. Will we be back? Not sure this time
