One in a million…

A spectacular property in all aspects. The location, the grounds, the building, the rooms, service and food second to non. What a beautiful place. Calm surrounds. A sumptuous Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the mountains. Simply stunning.

Disappointed - will not return

Having previously stayed at the wonderful Finca Cortesin we were looking forward to our stay here. Well what can I say apart from the complete and utter disappointment with this hotel which we were all so looking forward to. Let’s start with the positives mostly excellent staff and very good food. Clean and comfortable. The negatives Some staff have bad attitudes especially the maitre d of the main terrace restaurant who acted like there was no issue with the fact that we had sat for 2 hours waiting to get our starter! And the whole meal didn’t end till midnight having sat down at 8.30 The manger of the hotel was appauling and extremely unhelpful and in considerate of the fact my friend got ill having slept in what one can only describe as a fridge as his air conditioning in his room was broken and set to freezing and would not turn off just stuck on 18 degrees. And when I relayed some issues with the staff at the restaurant she didn’t believe i had been told things by her staff and basically looked at me like I was lying! When you visit a 5 star hotel you do not expect to be treated like a second class citizen. We had to move out one night early because we felt so uncomfortable staying and longer As far as I’m concerned for the price that they charge there are many better places to visit in Mallorca

Very much enjoyed our stay

Excellent hotel - we stayed here for a week in July. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous, the pool is big, scenic and super relaxing. Staff are unbelievably attentive, friendly and professional. The hotel entire experience oozed grown up sophistication! The character of the hotel was very Mallorca which I loved. The only reason I gave 4/5 stars was because although the food was exceptional, the choices were limited and we were there for one week. I would suggest doing 3 nights for anyone looking to go as it does get a bit repetitive. Also we had a cottage room (with access to the private pool). The room was lovely, very nicely decorated, large bathroom and large terrace but given its such an old structure (nothing they can really do about that) the room was very dark and the air con didn’t work that well.

Exceptional stay at a beautiful property.

We had an incredible stay at Son Net. The hotel is stunning - the materials and design are truly beautiful and everything is exceptional quality, even compared to other luxury hotels. We were very impressed. The staff is lovely and we enjoyed all of our meals, drinks, time at the pool and spa immensely. We are excited to return and will enthusiastically recommend our friends visit.

When the staff is more snobbish than the customers … 5 star prices/ not 5 star service

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 months ago

We booked for my birthday dinner. At arrival no one was there to welcome us or guide us to our seat. There was staff in the room just looking at us. After we finally called someone over we got our seat we had to ask 4 times for the wine list. After we had our (expensive) wine and water, we had to call over the staff constantly to refill our glasses that were empty, while several staff just walked by, again totally ignoring us. We finally got up and refilled ourselves, followed by an upset staff aggressively topping up. Our cocktails were not the ones we ordered. The staff snobbed us because we took the regular fish instead of the more expensive fish of the day. We had to ask for the dessert menu again three times. At check out my payment didn’t go through and they said it was my cards problem, although they had internet issues all day. The whole time there was plenty of staff chatting and joking around among themselves. When the staff is more snobbish than the customer u know there is a problem. Not 5 star hotel service
