From its bird’s-eye vantage point atop the rugged coastal cliffs of northern Mallorca, Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel & Spa enjoys stunning views of the sea and the UNESCO World Heritage Site Tramuntana Mountains. The Soller Valley is known for its lemon, orange and olive orchards, and these ingredients are woven into the hotel’s personality, from organic spa treatments to guestroom furniture made from indigenous wood. Jumeirah’s environmentally harmonious structure won Architecture of the Year accolades at the European Design Awards, and it topped the Sunday Times’ Hot List when it debuted in 2013.

We had such an amazing time at the Jumeriah Mallorca. The hotel is set in a beautiful location with breathtaking views to the Tramuntana hills on one side and the Balearic sea on the other. Everything about the hotel is spectacular. The staff are so friendly and look after you so well. We loved our time there and can’t wait to return.

Our room was perfect. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in and our view was stupendous. Housekeeping is amazing -- everything was spotless and staff can't do enough for you. This said, there were a few disappointments. The cold areas of the spa (ie: ice room and cold plunge), were out-of-order throughout our stay. Getting from place to place within the hotel requires multiple elevators and finding your way around can get confusing. If I had mobility issues, I might not choose to stay here as access to some things can require long walks. This said, the hotel is gorgeous, the location is beautiful, and the breakfast is terrific.

Perfect stay. This hotel excels at adding just that *extra luxurious touch* to make your stay blissful and completely relaxing. Flawless experience and team! Architecturally the Jumeirah Mallorca is very unique and enhances the island’s gorgeous nature into your experience — this was my favorite aspect of the hotel. The weather in Mallorca in October was lovely and skin-temp. Room: absolutely luxurious bed with 6 pillows and automated blackout curtains with sliding floor-to-ceiling windows to open the rooms completely to the patio and fresh air. I especially loved the overstuffed, oversized, comfy patio lounger... such a surprise luxury touch designed for naps and reading or working on the large private terrace. Perfect, clean, super responsive heating cooling system — it felt like it filtered the room air in such clean way that I really enjoyed but hardly needed to use. Bathroom: I think this Jumeirah has the best rain shower I’ve experienced out of any hotel. Opulent marble bathroom that felt like a personal spa with fantastic full size Natura Bisse products. Bidet, intuitive and natural lighting schema, and peekaboo blinds from the shower to bed. Breakfast: top tier breakfast, not to be missed. This is now one of my favorite breakfasts worldwide, hard to beat both the amazing food and amazing setting in combination. Stunning views overlooking an ocean panorama with a delicious array of artisanal hot and cold items to choose from, as well as a menu with eggs benedict, avo toast, and churros. I loved the fresh juices, including green juice and kombucha, and the berry bar. Huge pastry bar with amazing treats, local cheeses and jamon, amazing salad ingredients, house-made caramelized nut granola, homemade cookies, and truly fantastic cappuccinos. The hot bar was great with crispy bacon, shakshuka eggs, and English breakfast. Gym: fantastic pilates and yoga classes. Beautiful view from the treadmills featuring grapes hanging from the vines and butterflies overlooking the valley. New equipment, everything was perfectly clean and stocked with cold towels and fruit infused water. Open 24h; the gym was the main reason for my booking, and I was delighted! Spa & Pools: gorgeous views from the sauna and outdoor panorama spa pool with all kinds of fountains and bubble massage chairs. The infinity pool is also saltwater and gorgeous, perfect for reading or sunset bites. The kids pool had amazing seating and reading lounges. 3 different pools to choose from, all mildly warm and overlooking the ocean and beaches. The spa also offers homemade ginger tea and honey that was simply delicious. Service: from check-in, to coordinating communication via WhatsApp, to housekeeping and turn-down service, everything was flawless. The room is cleaned and organized in an exceptional way. I really enjoyed how the team was swift, very kind, took care of any issue with ease and grace, and they were also not overbearing — giving visitors a lot of space to just relax into this mini heaven. I loved my stay and wish I could come back and stay for two weeks. See you again Jumeirah!

There are some excellent points about the hotel such as the views, housekeeping and the infinity pool. All of the staff are really helpful and professional. However that’s where the positives end. The hotel is set on a hillside and on several levels which makes it awkward to manoeuvre around. Whilst there are lifts at the various intersections a number were out of order during our stay. That makes it difficult for persons with mobility issues and parents with young children. Breakfast was hit and miss depending on how busy it got. On the one day I had poached eggs these were stone cold so I elected to have cereals and toast thereafter. There was a good choice in general but trying to get the conserve from the containers was awkward and inefficient. One morning there were ants crawling all over the raw honeycomb and spilled milk on the floor but despite telling 2 members of staff nothing was done. The food in the Cap Roig was simply diabolical. The first nights meal was ruined by the very salty broccolini. I pointed this out to the waitress but it didn’t seem to resonate. Our other meal there was paella. Inedible. Clearly no understanding of how this should be cooked. This was highlighted with the manager who kindly removed the meals from the final bill. Food in the Sunset Lounge was innovative and good. However on 2 occasions we went there were cockroaches crawling around the bar area but again despite mentioning this to staff it was a simply shrug and we were told they were everywhere. Es Fanals was generally very good but the main course on both occasions was inedible. It was almost as though a different chef had been brought in just to do that one course. The pool area does not have staff until about 11am. There’s towels available and beds laid already but the toilet lighting in on sensor system controlled by the bar area that doesn’t open until 11am when the staff arrive. This is a health and safety issue and is completely unacceptable. I have never been to a hotel where they continually top up the initial amount you pay on your credit when you check in. And I have lived and worked all over the world. I have no issue of an amount being topped up provided you are told on check in and not by looking at your credit card and finding it there without explanation. I would not return and given my experience would not stay at a Jumeirah resort elsewhere.

I can’t believe this hotel to have such check out system 1. Turn off Air conditioner in the room. 2. They call before 12 pm. You must leave the room by 12. ( Un accessible to way. 3. I asked just little time. The reception asked me. Give me How many minutes!!?? 4. All this un accessible from level of this hotel. I will not recommend any one to visit again.
