Corinthia Palace Hotel & Spa

Me and my 2 friends booked this hotel and we booked here to celebrate our one of friend’s birthday. Rooms are spacious with terrace. Nice bathroom. Continental breakfast is amazing. We stayed there for 3 nights. I told them to surprise my friend and hotel put complimentary put some dessert items and made nice towel cake for birthday message. Their Spa is amazing highly recommended

We staid one week. Friendly and helpful staff, super clean in general, food is great, the New Year Party was a blast! Gym is well equipped and indoor pool large. The whole island is reachable from here with Bolt/Uber in 15-20 mins. We would definitely come again.

A lovely hotel with charming, professional staff. Beautiful and elegant public spaces. Our room was clean and comfortable and breakfasts cooked to order. There was a free shuttle bus to Valetta. The bars and restaurants in the hotel were top notch. We also found some great restaurants locally. However the big no no was the dreaded piped music around the pool. The pool area itself was really lovely with landscaped gardens and lots of comfortable sunbeds and plenty of secluded areas. Each of these though was fitted with a loudspeaker and it was impossible to escape the noise. We made enquiries but as usual we were told it was " company policy". Why can't hotels realise that not everyone wants vile noise forced into their ears without their consent. It should be possible to provide quiet areas. This undoubtedly spoiled our enjoyment of a costly 5 star hotel. A pity and so easy for the management to sort out. Also there was so called "music" throughout all interior public spaces day and night...if you wanted to read , chat or relax in quiet you had to go to your room. Not on for a 5 star hotel. Because of this we won't return which is a shame because otherwise the hotel was fantastic.

OUTSTANDING. This is what a 5 star hotel should be like and I've stayed in a few over the years. The original family hotel of the Corinthia chain. The service was impeccable, friendly, professional and genuinely welcoming, reaching out on WhatsApp and email before our arrival. The decor was elegantly comfortable. The room, with balcony was spacious and tastefully furnished.The bar great to relax in with the coffeeshop a real treat. The poolside garden restaurant an enjoyable quiet evening after a long trip. The Bahia restaurant thoroughly deserving its Michelin star with an innovative take on local Maltese cuisine. The small gestures like fresh coffee, fruit and pastries laid on at our pre-dawn check out show the attention to detail in customer service that others could learn from. Corinthia will be my first choice on future travels.

I had a very pleasant and relaxing week in lovely surroundings. The room was luxurious and service outstanding. I don’t recall a place with nicer staff - particularly Ramesh and Marin. If you want to be surrounded by bars and restaurants this is not the place for you but if you want quality it is. The only reason my review doesn’t award 5stars is due to an incorrect bill that included meals that should have been included as I was staying on a half board basis. The mistake however was quickly and apologetically corrected (and compensated).
