5 things we love about Discovery Primea 1. Excellent service! Friendly staff (guards, bell service, receptionists, house keepers, waiters). Special mention to Dale and Gela. 2. Clean room, complete amenities. 3. Memorable birthday surprise!!! Kudos to housekeeping department 👏🏻. 4. Nice pool area. 5. Great breakfast buffet.

I had an amazing stay! The room was spotless, cozy, and clean. The staff were incredibly welcoming, and every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. The food at the restaurant was absolutely delicious. It was a seamless, stress-free experience that left me feeling refreshed. We will definitely come back!

We have stayed at some of the best hotels in Makati, and since our usual hotel was booked up for New Years, we decided to try Discovery Primea for the first time. We come here with the expectation that the room would have great amenities, such as an in-room washer/dryer that we needed, a pool, and a great view. We definitely were excited to receive all of that with the Executive Suite that we booked. PROS: * Great in-person customer service. Room service is very fast and friendly, when they actually answer the phone. *Excellent city view from the Executive Suites CONS: * It was very hard to reach anyone if something was needed. We tried the concierge and housekeeping via the in-room phone on several occasions, and no one ever picked up. * The in-room electronics is in bad need of upgrading and/or maintenance. The living room TV (43") is small for the room size, and is not a smart TV, which is unacceptable for a 5-star hotel. There is mirroring, but not the same as having built-in apps. The docking station for the TV which is located on the rear of the living room desk did not work at all in our room, so we could not utilize our travel streaming box. Several of the outlets in the room were worn out, so when plugging in an AC adapter, it just fell right out of the socket. The wifi signal was pretty weak, and only managed 5mbps at best. No LAN ports available in the room, especially with the docking station not working. * The price of the in-room mini bar is insane. 250 pesos for a tiny can of Coke, 250 pesos for a 12oz. San Mig can is complete robbery. Overall, for the price and value of in-room amenities, there are better hotels in the Makati area to stay (especially in Rockwell), which are actually cheaper. Given this, while we did mostly enjoy the hotel, I don't feel that Discovery Primea is really worth the price being asked.

Too bad the number of beds don't correspond to the number of guests. We had to ask for an extra bed, and the breakfast is disappointing...... nevertheless the location is great, the staff very helpful and the view from the swimming pool fabulous, specially at night
