The service here is the best. Everyone is so attentive and friendly from the moment you check-in to the moment you check-out. They truly provide the best experience possible. The rooms are nice, clean and spacious. They even made a small towell decoration for us in our room since we were celebrating our honeymoon. The pool has breathtaking views of the ocean, especially during sunset. And ofcourse we cannot forget about the monkeys on our balcony each morning/evening, they were the highlight of our trip!

This place was such a wonderful experience! They have monkeys everywhere, we even got to see some sloths! Their service here is top notch- Warren at the pool, Kevin driving us around, the guy at guest services, and spa ladies were all amazing. All the staff in the restaurant and front desk were wonderful too. The rooms were very clean and spacious ( we had the junior suites). Would highly recommend!

We have been at Shana for the last 5 days and have been elated by the way we’ve been treated. The food is amazing and the service is top notch. Jasmine was our server the first day we arrived and we have requested her every day since. My wife’s birthday was a few days ago and Jasmine went out of her way to buy her a small caramel cheese cake. Acts of kindness like hers are few and for between!!!!!

Loved the easy access to the beach. The facility can use a little attention as rooms looked a little tired and musty. The staff at the hotel and The restaurant were amazing. I have been in hospitality business all my life and I recognize a genuine over the top service. Hats off to the Boa, Fiona and and the hardworking manager, Hayette in the office. Thanks to the bellman with the biggest smile, Jairo, who was always there to offer a hand with anything needed and Kevin who offered rides at anytime that he saw us walking around the resort. Sincere thanks to the dinning room and the pool service staff including Warner, Javier and Jasmin. Always providing the most friendly service with a big smile. Finally thanks to Ian at the guest service who was so helpful with providing advise regarding the weather and road closures that delayed our travel back to San Jose due to mud slides and floods.

The rooms, staff and landscape were nice. The food at the restaurant was delicious- no need to eat anywhere else. I recommend their sea food cream soup. Their breakfast buffet was delicious as well. Marcos our server was very friendly. Kevin our bell hop was helpful and always insisted on helping us with our bags and giving us a ride up the hill. Ian the young man in charge of excursions helped us decide on which excursion to do. Overall I had a very classy and nice experience.
