Beautiful setting, great amenities. Excelllent staff . Difficult to get around if you have mobility issues. Great variety of food and restaurants, but reservation system for specialty restaurants is not good (was told no reservation available, but went there and there were many empty tables) Lots of entertainment and activities if you want to do so.

This is a beautiful property. Staff are professional from front desk to housekeeping to pool and restaurants. I have been to this property 4 times and will come back again. Great resort to relax.

Overall we found the resort to be quite nice. The rooms were spacious and had great view of the ocean and the pools. The food was ok and most nights they only had one a la carte restaurant open as the resort was not busy. We did find it difficult to communicate as there was not a lot of English speaking staff but we managed to get things figured out. The one downfall of the resort is at the beach and the pools there are only lounge chairs. We wished they had some sitting chairs for the beach and the pool areas. We did find the odd staff member would let us take a chair from the outdoor show to sit on and we always took the chair back at the end of the day. Overall we were happy and would return.

Hopefully this is helpful for further improvements. Mainly some other options for sitting on the beach and also by the pools

Beautiful resort, beautiful gardens and pools, excellent service, would have liked more variety and better quality food but Japanese restaurant was great. Not much beach to walk on and Barcelo is quite far from off resort restaurants, etc. you can’t really walk much except on city streets which are not beautiful. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, as the weather is spectacular.
