It is about 30 years old but clean. The breakfast buffet was very good. Definitely bring good walking shoes. This is definitely not a place for handicapped people. The hair dryer I got from the front desk only blew cold air. Concierge was very accommodating.

The hotel is beautiful. We felt safe and free to roam and explore the property and surrounding areas and villages. The staff make the experience luxurious. The breakfast staff are extraordinary. Too many to name, but Javier, Ricardo, Josue, and the others make you look forward to breakfast. The food is excellent and specially prepared to your specification. Brenda makes the best omelette. The front desk staff are all so helpful. A wonderful experience we hope to enjoy again.

Drove from PV to cone for an over night . What a fantastic place abs service. Pool was great our view of the marina was great. Food and drinks good. Just a side note of driving from PV will be over 4 hrs. I highly recommend going to visit. You can take water taxi over to Barra Navidad as well

Take care of you plan to expend Christmas and New Year in the Grand Island Navidad due to the high cost and poor service on all inclusive days mandatory Dic/24-25 and Dic31-Jan/01 where they make consume whatever they want till the all inclusive term go off and all good beverages come up as magic with charge obviously. It’s my last ever time in that hotel and we have meet 14 members of my family from several parts of America continent. It was a bit dissatisfying because I proposed the Grand Isla Navidad Hotel.

My wife was teaching yoga there for a week and I tagged along. The staff are super nice and friendly, and the food, especially the breakfasts, was really good. Room was excellent. A lovely setting. It's showing is age a bit but I had fun on the golf course and a very relaxing week. So pretty and the balcony view is fantastic too. Couple of restaurants nearby and in Barra de Navidad via water taxi are nice as well. Can't say enough about the people who work there - good people. From Javier at breakfast to Poncho on the golf course I was very impressed with all of these lovely people. We are returning again this year in February.

Just got back from a great stay at Isla Navidad. The hotel was exactly as pictured and delivered significantly more value than the price paid. The resort credit can be used as desired and includes room service (all but tips) and valet parking (although free parking is very convenient). The resort is a great stay without a car - a quick trip from the Manzanillo airport and only $2 round trip back and forth to Barra Navidad on a 2 minute boat ride that operates 24 hours. Barra is a charming town where everything is walking distance. In town, I highly recommend the restaurant Mexico Lindo (try the enchiladas) and Restaurant Ambar for excellent Italian (wood oven pizzas).
