Isla Bella Beach Resort

The resort was beautiful with wide selection of activities, pools, bars and restaurants. All top notch! Water stations are readily available and the views and sunsets are gorgeous! The rooms were furnished beautifully, bed comfortable and bath room was huge with soaking tub in addition to large walk in rain shower.

In general, it is a beautiful resort. You enter through a private gate and drive up a palm-tree-lined driveway. At reception, you are offered champagne or sparkling cider. The rooms are well-appointed, and the resort pool is a lot of fun. Open from 8 AM to 10 PM, it is an excellent spot for morning and late-night swims. Downsides: The food at the resort restaurants, aside from Mahina, which we did not try, is not very good. The Sushi Cabana, in particular, was poor. The Beach Bar was not great, and service was slow. We left the resort for most of our meals, which is not ideal. Also, housekeeping seemed to come in the late afternoon every day, around 3-4, when we would be returning from a day out and would have to leave again so they could clean.

We had a wonderful time at Isla Bella! What a gorgeous setting and fabulous resort. The staff could not have been nicer and the service was top notch. We loved how the room opened up onto the ocean, and even though we were there on a busy holiday weekend, it did not feel crowded. We took full advantage of the many activities offered and during our short 3 day stay went parasailing, jet skiing, fishing and rescued over 500 lbs of trash during the beach cleanup! We also loved biking and running along 7 mile bridge, and relaxing in the spa and by the pool(s). Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer and look forward to visiting again in the future!

I chose this resort on reviews. They were right on. The grounds,the rooms, and the atmosphere here are 1st class. Beautiful setting. Service is unbeatable. Everyone was so friendly. A special. Shout out to Chanda, and Anne. They are the best bartenders. If you are coming to the keys, make this resort your choice.

The resort itself is beautiful. They missed on the details. The drink were the worst we ever had, consistently. The mattress was terrible. It had a plastic cover and the sheets would not stay on the mattress. Game area is set up right outside the rooms, so it was loud late at night. Would not recommend. Also charge $30/night to park on premises.
