Isla Bella Beach Resort

This review is based strictly on the experience I had with customer service. The resort itself is fantastic. We stayed here last year and wanted to return in 2025. The issue is the cancellation/change policy. Yes, they have a policy on the website. It is vague. I needed to change dates by one week. The management refused at first. I had American Express intervene. I was told it was a one night penalty for cancellation/change. Except, the hotel wanted to charge me full rack rate not what I paid for the first night. The fee was $1120. That is beyond extreme. Finally, Alexis, the manager agreed to let me change without penalty. The room had to be the same. Perfect. Except, she quoted me full rack rates $800-1080 based on certain nights. The website had the same rooms available for around $670. My original total was $3500….new total $6200. I want others to be very mindful that there is zero flexibility here. Learn from my experience. We will never return.

Never been to The Keys but we picked the perfect spot. Sometime you don’t realize how stressed you are and how much you need to get away to chill. This is the spot! From the moment we arrived the service was top notch…couldn’t have been better! Exemplified right from the start when Theo greeted us at check in, took us to our room, did everything with a smile. The rooms are beautiful, located right on the beach, there are a number of pools thruout the property and separate beach areas. Again, service at each spot was amazing!!! There are so many great restaurants in Marathon and other spots on the Keys, all very chill. Shoutout to Island Fish Co…best piece of grouper I’ve ever had(great coconut shrimp as well). We feel restored, relaxed…just a great place! Did I mention the amazing deep tissue massage I got at the Spa? I can’t say enough about Isla Bella. We will be back and hopefully very soon. Big thank you to everyone…our week here could not have been any better!!!

Isla Bella was terrific! You are greeted with a drink and a smile and escorted to your room with information about the resort. The rooms are spacious and beautiful and the bathrooms are large! There are many activities like pools, seating areas, and beach games. It's lit up well at night and creates a very inviting atmosphere.

Second time here. Very nice resort. Rooms clean and modern. Restaurants were very nice and food was delicious and came out hot. Wait staff was friendly and helpful especiallyy Evelyn and Carlos and Cary. Would definitely stay here again. Nice beach and beach bar which had live entertainment each night.

Nothing could have been better except the weather. STRONGLY recommend Isla Bella. Beautiful, clean, well maintained and very friendly staff. Everything exceeded our expectations. We hope to go back again next year. Food was great. No need to leave the resort.
