Gran Melia Don Pepe

We are a family of 4 (3 months old baby & 4 yo toddler) and we stayed for 2 weeks. Absolutely wonderful and accommodating staff. The pool area and the grounds are wonderful, the rooms are spotless, great turn down service. Best part of the hotel is hands down the kids club! We come to this hotel especially for this experience which our daughter loves (it’s our 3x here!) thank you to Marta, Lorena and Elena for all of the activities, face painting, and swimming !

We stayed for 2 nights as part of a longer trip to different locations in Andalusia. The check in was efficient and our room had stunning views of the nearby mountains. After relaxing around the pool area and enjoying the sunshine we returned to the room to find a special surprise for our daughter’s birthday. There were balloons and a lovely cake, it was such a special moment and she was so happy. A massive thanks to the hotel staff for making this happen. For the evening meals we dined at Erre, a Basque style restaurant where the meats and fish were grilled to perfection on different types of wood. The food was delicious and the service was very slick. Overall, we were very impressed with the hotel. The location is good, an easy 10 minute stroll along the promenade into the town but felt peaceful. Everything was spotlessly clean and the gardens were beautiful. The staff were all amazing and a special mention to Enrique on reception and Elena at the kids club. We will definitely return!

Have stayed at the Don Pepe many times over the years but this was my return of the six years past still a beautiful Hotel wonderful staff and if you can stay on the red level for all the extras rooms are wonderful clean the layout on the grass are all well kept breakfast was good. It’s a short walk down to the old town of Marbella or a slightly longer walk up to Porto banus It was lovely to return to the hotel and I look forward to coming back next year. Thank you all the staff you are a credit to the hotel.

This is one of our favourite hotels in the world. It has everything you could wish for. The staff are really first class. Abel Lopez Ybarra Munoz deserves a mention for his superb management skills and the way he looks after every detail to ensure your stay is perfect. This hotel is a real treat if you are looking for something very special. Our last visit in October was our tenth and we are already planning our eleventh.

We had a really lovely 11 nights at this hotel. The staff were delightful and the breakfast was wonderful. It has beautiful grounds to sit in and nothing is to much trouble, The only criticism we had was the bedroom was a little tired and the wardrobe door was very difficult to open and close. Also the lights in the bedroom is in need of updating.
