There are so many things to say about this resort, and virtually everyone is incredibly positive. From the moment you pull up to the security entrance, you can't fail to be impressed by how stylish the resort appears. As you drive into the resort and arrive at reception, an opulent yet stylish area, you are greeted with warmth and smiles from possibly the nicest receptionists you're likely to meet at any hotel around the world. Their appearance is smart and professional, their conduct like relatives you haven't seen for a long while and who are excited to see you. The check-in process was simple and efficient, yet every detail covered in a more than satisfactory manner. Our room was large, well appointed, and spotlessly clean. The bed was huge, firm but very comfortable. We didn't have the best view, but it was far from poor. Bedding and towels were changed every day, floors were mopped, and a beautiful fragrance welcomed us every day when we returned from our adventures. There are two restaurants, the International Buffet and The Fez a la carte restaurant. For the majority of your stay, you will use the International Buffet as it is the only one serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The staff in the buffet are many, dressed and quaffed perfectly, polite, and incredibly attentive. Prompted to do so or otherwise, they all made the effort to remember your name, your favoured beverage, and the table where you normally sit. It doesn't feel like a buffet, it feels like an incredibly efficient and familiar place to eat. I have read that some people have said the food is repetitive. Here is my perspective: By definition, a buffet is a spread of many food styles designed to cater to all kinds of tastes. It's a family resort, and so it has to have pizza, pasta, and chicken bites to accompany chips. All of those are covered. It needs to have a salad station for those who prefer the healthy options. The choices here were wonderful as well as reflective of the hotels location in the world which included fabulous aubergine, mixed pepper and chickpea salads. Traditional things like tomatoes, lettuce, cucumber were ever present. There is a central area where hot offering under lids, including fish, lamb, chicken, rice, vegetables, and potatoes, were served daily in different guises. I'm guessing this is where people were suggesting repetition. My feeling is that you can only do a certain amount of things with rice and vegetables, and deciding to introduce curries or Chinese versions isn't native to Morocco. There is a fifth food area where they made stir-fried vegetables with noodles, with rice plus joints of lamb, beef, or turkey that were carved in front of you. In the courtyard, in front of the buffet, they have a daily barbecued serving chicken, burgers and a form of sausage. I don't eat meat so didn't try any of this although it was incredibly popular. The house red and white wines are Moroccan and more than drinkable. In fact they're far nicer than most all inclusive house wines I've experienced throughout the Caribbean. OK, just when you thought this review couldn't be better, strap yourself in. On our last night, we visited The Fez a la carte restaurant. I'm enjoying the irony that one of Britain's funniest magician/ comedians, Tommy Cooper, was synonymous for wearing a Fez and every trick he tried to perform went disastrously wrong. It perfectly summarises The Fez restaurant. In short it is absolutely terrible. From the moment we arrived, there was nobody waiting to welcome us, and we stood at the entrance for 5 minutes waiting, assuming that perhaps everyone was otherwise occupied. We decided to throw caution to the wind and walk in, only to see a third full restaurant of about 6 tables and four members of the waiting staff standing against the far wall chatting. They briefly looked up, acknowledged our presence, and continued with their conversation. It was 10 minutes before we were seated. We were given menus and waited 10 minutes for a waiter to come back and take our order. The menu is in French and English so we ordered in English. It was painfully obvious that our waiter was a rookie and being shadowed by a more senior member of staff. It took four or five attempts to convey our selections even though we were pointing them out to him. After five minutes, another member of staff came back as the original waiter might have gotten the order confused. We sat with empty water glasses for thirty minutes until my wife caught the attention of the young waiter. Literally, the three waiters in discussion against the wall hadn't moved! After 45 minutes, our starter arrived, and unsurprisingly, it was cold. I took one bite and felt defeated. The food sat in front of us for 10 minutes before the waiter came to collect the plates. He never asked why 90% of the food was still on the plate, so we told him. He asked if we would like it reheated, and we so no and shook our heads. Two minutes later, he returned with the starter warmed up and a big smile on his face. We stood up and left. It took over an hour to arrive at this point and it is without question the very worst a la carte dining experience we have had at over 30 all inclusive holiday resorts we have stayed at throughout the world. I can't imagine the quality of service you would experience if the restaurant was full and in the height of summer. The pool areas are lovely. The smaller heated pool where the children play is a safe space. The larger unheated pool is far quieter, certainly while we were there and more relaxing. I like the idea of there being two pools because not everyone is a big fan of listening to kids screaming. We've been through that as parents, and we now prefer a more serene sunbathe. Towards the end of our stay, more families turned up, so I suspect the resort will get a bit noisier, but that's to be expected at a water park all inclusive. There's a fantastic bar near the kids' pool where they have an outdoor huge screen that shows major sporting events. The bar team, led by Fuhed, are fantastic, and he, in particular, is a huge asset to the resort. To summarise, a beautiful hotel, wonderfully clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff, a great buffet, clean pools with well maintained gardens, and the worst a la carte restaurant we have ever experienced. My advice is to definitely book a stay here, but don't fantasise over a Moroccan feast at Fez, or the joke will be on you.

We stayed at Eden Andalou for 7 nights in March 2025. From arrival at the airport (fre transfer with stay) to return to the airport (paid return), we felt well cared for. Nearly every staff member we encountered was professional and prompt in responding to questions or needs. We booked a Family Deluxe Suite, which was perfect for our family of 4. Bottled water is provided in the room, and every time we requested more (along with toilet paper and sometimes towels), it arrived at our door within minutes. There was a bit of an issue with the electrical system on arrival, so we did have to wait while an electrician was located and fixed the problem. The air conditioning also was a little temperamental--it does need to be reset upon entering the room each time and leaving the fan on auto will keep the room warm rather than cool. About the restaurants...we have multiple dietary requirements including severe food allergies (dairy, egg, peanut) in our family, so I was nervous about eating in Marrakech. We made sure to have allergy cards printed in Moroccan Arabic and English, but we might have been better served to also include French. On our first day, we arrived just in time for dinner service. When I asked about food allergies, I was taken to the new Executive Chef Lefie (I'm sure I've got the spelling wrong). He was fabulous!! From that first night, every time we went in when he was on duty, he came directly to us to show us what food would be safe. Granted, buffet eating with food allergies is not ideal due to cross contamination, but we were as careful as we could be. My allergic child ended up choosing pasta every meal, which is prepared fresh. We were able to ask for clean pans and utensils, and quite frankly, the dinner service pasta chef was THE BEST. He encouraged my child (who is learning French) to speak to him, and he joked with her without using words as well. We were told that the breads were safe for her to eat, but we had a funny feeling that they contained eggs and dairy, which was in fact confirmed by another chef on another day. So if you have food allergies, do be diligent and try to get clarification for your needs. I'm pretty sure my child ate potatoes containing butter at one point, but thankfully, all was well. At any rate, while my child ended up eating the same foods every day, she never went hungry (for which I'm very thankful). Additionally, I am vegan. There was one lunch were literally every dish was marked containing milk (pro tip: don't trust the signage). The head lunchtime chef went to the back to prepare rice and vegetables for me, but most other times, I just ate as I needed. The restaurant could up its game on vegan protein (legumes); we were there for three days before lentils were served at breakfast one morning. I mostly had carbs, vegetables, and fruit. The dessert bar always looked amazing, but the only vegan "dessert" available was fruit. Our fifth day at Eden was my birthday, so I asked Executive Chef if there was any way possible to have something vegan chocolate for my birthday. Sous Chef Mohammed went to the back and made a gorgeous chocolate and fruit tart with cream filling. It was very sweet, but so good and I was so thankful that they made the effort! As for snack, popcorn was the only option and I'm not sure it was offered everyday (I went only twice). In addition to Executive Chef, Sous Chef, and dinner service pasta chef (I didn't get his name), breakfast and lunch server Ismail and dinner server Hassna both deserve special mention. By day 3 of our stay, Ismail would see us coming and start preparing our drink preferences that he had memorized! (Moroccan tea is addictive! I preferred mine half sugar, half without.) Activities: Eden is well equipped with pools, table tennis, football, and basketball, along with other activities such as yoga and belly dancing which we did not do. The water was too cold most days in all of the pools (even the heated one was not overly warm) during our stay, but we did manage a semi-warm waterpark day the day before departure. There is a deposit to pay for pool towels, footballs, table tennis paddles and balls, etc., all refundable upon return. Excursions: The excursions company in the lobby off the hotel is great. We took two of their excursions, one to the souk and historical places in town (Palace Bahia was gorgeous), and one to Ourika Valley. Our driver and guide to Ourika Valley (Haj) became our friend and he actually came back another day to take us where we wanted to go (namely, YSL and Jardin Majorelle with a side trek to karting for our teenager). The stops along the way to Ourika Valley are interesting and beautiful--I especially enjoyed the stop at the women's cooperative. We didn't quite make it to the waterfalls. If you are prone to altitude sickness, you may wish to skip this excursion. Not everything was perfect during our stay. The weather was a bit cooler than we'd hoped, but that's not something Eden can control. There was some construction going on in various places at the resort, but didn't bother us. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and Executive Chef asked us to come back "la semaine prochaine"!

What a gem! A wonderful surprise how great this hotel was, we didn’t know what to expect but there was a great selection of food, the rooms were comfortable, clean and very big! Eveything was very clean but our highlight was dancing in the evening with Mimi and Marie-Joe! Their energy was infectious and we danced and danced! Thank you to all the lovely staff for such a lovely stay

Good and bad, good points are that the staff are lovely. You get a nice big room and a free shuttle bus to the main town and return (with the shuttle you need to book in advance). People are very friendly in the town and shopping is really good! Water park is good but only a small section of the slides can be used as the rest of the park is not heated and has freezing cold water so unusable (even the toddler mini pool) My negative points are the food, it is always luke warm and you don’t serve yourself and feel uncomfortable asking for more than one small portion and sometimes questioned. Only chips at much time. Positives are the fresh pasta station which is made in front of you and always hot, same with the pizzas and waffles. No ice cream for dessert or throughout the day for children unless you pay extra! Worst all inclusive drinks we have ever experienced as there is very limited choice ie no dark rum, baileys, pina colada etc. Big pool is not heated which makes the smaller pool extremely busy with children & adults as that is the only one that’s heated so sun loungers are limited around there. Music is played every evening by 2 men sat outside which is very nice! Kalil is very good and the Michael Jackson show was brilliant however all other entertainment was very poor.

we had a great time at this out of town hotel. This didnt bother us as we had recently stayed in town and 3 nights in the Medina so we had ticked the tourist boxes and just wanted some restful winter sun. The hotel is set away from the aqua park and was very peaceful and only 25% full so just as we wanted. weather was a bit mixed but we went into town on the free shuttle on days that were a bit cloudy so it didn't bother us. The hotel was bought by Marriott in recent times and the staff are working hard to present a quality offering. They are doing a great job. For the price we paid it was excellent value for money. The food is very good. Buffet food is never as hot as I would like but that is just me. There was a microwave but I didn't need to use it but nice to have the choice for those who like piping hot food. The salads were fabulous and selection generally good although I would have liked to see more fish and shellfish on the menu. Dessert were yummy! The staff deserve a special mention as they were all really excellent and could not do enough for us. this was in stark contrast to the Movenpick Mansaur where we stayed in late Feb where the service was lax to say the least! I would like to give a special mention to Ahmed in the dining hall who went the extra mile and was always only too pleased to accommodate our wishes. "James" the pool bar waiter was just such a lovely guy to talk to and he bought us ginger and lemon cold remedies as we both were nursing a bit of a cold. No wonder his Nick name is "James Bond as he really is a hero! All in all a great stay at this hotel and we are planning to return with our family for more winter sunshine later in the year. I would thoroughly recommend this great hotel...my tip get in quick before you pay Marriott prices !
