Hotel & Ryads Barriere Le Naoura Marrakech

Fantastic hotel with all the luxury you expect from a high-rate hotel. Near the centre and the old town and public square. The room was large. The bathroom was imperial and the bath was deep for a pleasing soak. However, the climate control switch was stuck at 22 centigrade and I think it was deliberate on the assumption it was winter in Marrakesh although the daily temperature was above 30 centigrade

Kids club was great - especially with Nezha - who truly cared for and found joy in doing activities with and watching over the children. Really nice, comfortable rooms and beautiful property. Great location. Meal services were often inaccurate and slow, but overall a great hotel.

Lovely hotel. Modern with a bit of tradition. Staff are incredibly friendly. A great place for families or couples. Good location in between the medina (a 5 minute walk) and the new town. The street behind has good restaurants (like kabana and maison reine). The breakfast is great as is the pool. We stayed in two junior suites and they are really nice rooms.

Amazing staff, amazing hotel, amazing place, amazing facilities, amazingly kids friendly, ... amazing holidays!!! We were welcomed by the staff that is so smiley and nice, always helpful, the food is great, the breakfast is delicious, .. we will come back for sure each time!!!

OUR ROOMS WERE ROBBED BY THE CLEANING STAFF! My family and I are staying at the Barriere Le Naoura hotel for two nights this week (Dec 27-29th, 2023). We are a group of 14 people and have multiple suites at the hotel. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant tonight and were surprised that our food took one hour and a half to be delivered to our table (which we complained repeatedly about). When we returned to our rooms, each of my four children noticed that several hundred dollars were missing from envelopes they each had received as Christmas presents (from their grandparents, who are also staying at the hotel with us). We know that the robbery happened while we were at dinner, because two of my boys had checked that the full cash amounts were in the envelopes before heading out to dinner. We also suspect that the restaurant staff delayed our food delivery in order to give the cleaning staff more time to go through our rooms and belongings. We needed to involve the police and will involve the Embassy if the matter does not get resolved promptly. Staying at this hotel was a big mistake and a horrible experience. Would strongly recommend staying anywhere else if you come to Marrakesh!
