The Ochre City of Marrakech presents a tale of two cities. Vibrant arts and culture, world class golf courses and fashionable night life, juxtaposed with spiritual mystique, beautiful gardens, Andalusian architecture and traditional souks. The Oberoi, Marrakech is located within twenty-eight acres of Mediterranean orchards with fragrant citrus trees and centuries old olive groves.

Having fallen in love with The Oberoi on our visit last year, we couldn’t wait to return. And we were not disappointed. Yet again, amazing service and genuinely kind staff, all set in stunning and majestic grounds. We visited the Mandarin Oriental and Amanjena just to compare. They are also lovely hotels but were relieved to get back ‘home’ - there is just something so special about The Oberoi. I have to single out Mr Mamdouh Milad, Director of Rooms, for his care in ensuring we had the best stay. He went over and beyond and we remain incredibly grateful. We dined in the hotel both nights (make sure you have the tasting menu in Rivyat) and we were particularly excited about enjoying the amazing breakfasts once again. And yes, we’re booked already for next year (3rd year in a row) - it can’t come around quickly enough!

The Oberoi in Marrakech was amazing - we booked it as a package and the hotel was great at responding to queries ahead of the trip. From our arrival at the airport, everyone we met from the hotel was kind, patient and attentive. Our villa was exceptional and kept spotless. The hammam spa experience was great. The thoughtful touches/amenities in the room were an added bonus. The shuttle to Marrakech and those that drove it were great. Being able to keep in touch with the hotel by WhatsApp was a great touch too - I’ve never experienced that before! We really appreciated the stay and flexibility/kindness of the staff.

This is an exceptionally beautiful hotel resort outside of Marrakech. It's the ideal spot to sink in and enjoy the property for a few days. With so much to see and do onsite, it's an oasis of calm outside bustling Marrakech. The staff was welcoming, and professional and offered such genuine warmth - I can't wait to return!

An amazing visit, we cannot fault this hotel, it is pure luxury. Gorgeous views and stunning grounds with staff that will go above and beyond to ensure you have an unforgettable stay. The villa room with pool was perfect, very spacious and all the amenities you could need. We have not experienced a hotel like this before and will definitely return!

The best of the absolute best, not just a hotel but an experience! We were lucky enough to get to stay at the Oberoi Marrakech for 2 nights in January in a Deluxe Villa with Pool in January, I'd highly recommend this des for some winter sun! It is not often I am lost for words, but this hotel is without a doubt one of the most outstanding we have had the pleasure to stay in. From the moment we arrived we were treated with fantastic personal service from morning until night, every member of staff we had the pleasure of speaking to were warm, friendly & super helpful nothing is ever an issue. This was our first visit to Marrakech, and it certainly won't be the last. We fell in love with the buzz and the charm of it all. The oberoi is situated about 30 minutes approximate from the airport, we grabbed a cab from the taxi rank situated just outside. However, the hotel also offers this service. On arrival we were blown away, the beautiful red robes of the concierge awaiting to greet you, open doors & hot towels on arrivv al, next seated for fresh hot mint moroccan tea, served only traditionally of course. The whole check-in experience was well explained, professional, personal, and seamless. The entrance to the hotel is breathtaking, the stunning architecture, the image of course of Ben Youseff in the main centre. I eagerly awaited to see all elements, but the view of the Grand Canal down the staircase is just something else, peaceful and calm with the outlines of the Atlas Mountains in the distance. We were taking to our room on foot, seeing the gorgeous lined olive groves. Lavender and herbal gardens along the way, not a detail unnoticed or unexplained. Don't forget to visit the rescue donkeys during your stay who are tended for with such love and care. The room, where to even start. The Grand entrance doorways open to a stunning villa style room, right to the bedroom and through to open doors to the pool area, an outdoor seating area, loungers and your own private pool, fresh lemons and herbs surrounding for your own use, give them a try with your drink by the pool! We were greeted with a lovely bottle of red wine, fresh fruit nuts, and dried fruit treats such a lovely touch. To the left, you have a walk-in wardrobe with plenty of space for your belongings, hats, and beach bags to lend during your stay, a safe and all the normal amenities. Close the doors and carry round to a well light dressing area with a powerful hairdryer, into the open style bathroom with the bath infront of the open viewing window, his and her sinks freshly left vased roses and the most lovely smelling toiletries. The toilet is separate, and next up is the massive walk-in shower complete with an external door to make easy access from the pool. Simply, nothing has gone a miss. There is a well stocked mini bar (we didn't use other than 2 beers but usual hotel prices). I loved the fact that all the snacks and things they serve are made on site at the hotel. On our second day, my husband was unfortunate enough to have severe toothpain the hotel concierge where nothing short of amazing, as we were half an hour out of the main area they personally delivered what was requested. Amazing. Outside the villas lie tranquil gardens with all homegrown herbs and plants that can be used if you wish. The hotel hotel has such a sense of calm about it, definitely take time to embrace and take a walk around and take in the views the orange trees are a must see. We didn't visit the main pool, with our trip being only short and out exploring but it was a lovely setting with beds and cabanas plentiful. Breakfast was one of the best we had, we could have sat infront of that view of the Grand canal everyday, the food was absolutely beautiful not a fault. Well crafted menu to pick from with all of your normal buffet style delights, the honey section was one of my favourites, you name it. It was on offer. Make sure to try an ice coffee. Take time to visit the orchard set spa during your stay we just missed sunset but we're told it's absolutely perfect for watching this. Myself and my husband were shown to a private room with a sauna and steam room, loungers and fresh towels and water perfect again for making this a personal couples experience. The pool was so relaxing and definitely a good way to wind down. We ate in the hotel on our second night in the main restaurant, the service was amazing our waitress was nothing short of fantastic (apologies I'm not so good with mains). There was an issue where the dish i ordered had one thing missing which I didn't realise until it arrived, it wasn't a big deal but she went above and beyond to make it right which was a really lovely touch. Cocktails in the bar are lovely, very good quality (very strong!) But served with elegance and class. Overall, an outstanding and special experience and stay from start to finish. The concierge team were second to none, the WhatsApp service works excellent for anything you need or last minute plans, and the speed the team replied in did not go unnoticed. The hotel also offer a shuttle service morning and afternoon which is included to take you and to and from the main square this is super handy if like us you love to explore the local areas and cultures. Thankyou so much for making our stay memorable, we hope to return one day soon
